Ended up trading Greene to Marshall  8)

Too much upside and the risk was minimal. At worst he was going to make 80k which is more than spud rookies are making us, but fingers crossed I just picked up a keeper for 340k

I might be silly but holding. The last 2 weeks are sunk costs, you can't recover them. Look to the future and weigh up the cost of playing a rook for an extra week then Greene thereafter.

The only rational reason to trade is if you believe he is out for more than one week again, or won't come back in scoring the numbers you thought he would when you picked him preseason

The last two weeks are sunk in terms pf points but Marshall's earnings are there for the taking, with rookies slowing down I'm all over this opportunity. The other problem with holding Greene is that some of the rookies will be close to his price so I'm expecting quite a few to jump on if he fires.

Ended up trading Marshall in after your reply, thank you Bully

Same. Playing like a keeper but worse case he will be an easy sideways-upgrade if he drops off

And I didn't because I'm a spud :( Still got Greene

If I didn't make the trade I would have had to field Parker

The trade has already netted me 80+ points, and i won my cash league match by 2 points!

I had to field Setters because of it. Not trading to Rozee last week cost me similar points. Holding players is backfiring badly. Trades are not worth the points I've lost the last two weeks.

Well done mate, could be a huge leg up if he continues this form. Not too fussed about Gawn next week, will take an 80 & I reckon he does enough around the ground to be a keeper for the year.

Now for the big question...........what do the masses do? Jump on at 400k or hold off until after the Melbourne game?

The masses need to take advantage of the rookies on the bubble this week, so they should pass on Marshall and leave his ownership low ;)

Good advice.  ;)

Good pick up fellas.

Still happy with Worp for the extra 80k, will take an 85 from him today.

Might be able to squeeze Marshall in this week.

Marshall just got scaled down from 123 to 119 and now I lose my league match by 2 points lol

4 point drop is stiff!

Ouch! Though he was robbed a bit in the dying minutes too. In any case he should make 100k in no time, even if stalls a bit from here.

It was obviously my opponents day

After his Danger VC failed (I had Grundy) he went Cripps who went even bigger, but on top of that he had Cousins who looked like being done for the day but then came back on, but the biggest BS was the 50 point final qtr by Jack flowering Newnes who he also had to get him over the line by 2

Everything had to be perfect for him, and it was :(

Early days though, so no biggie, just a bit annoying haha and very happy I traded out Greene for Marshall :)

Yeah, Cripps at quarter time was looking like a nightmare but that's the nature of the beast. In any case we should all be happy that Marshall only has 5% ownership, that may change a bit next week but we can at least concentrate on getting some cash in the bank. Just checked Marshall's price in TooSerious & he's around 390k, reckon his ownership will double this week.
