Liverpool Rams v Manchester Magic
15th v 6th - Rams are struggling with injuries and hard to see them overcoming surprise packets so far Magic especially with their firing midfield.
Bradford Badgers v Nottingham Hoods
2nd v 13th - Despite the ladder positions this game will be much tighter than it appears. Hoods only lost last week by 2 points and ran into the red hot Werewolves in Rd 1 so badgers better be prepared for a Hoods outfit chasing first win. Battle will be won in the mids and if Coniglio can regain some form favour Hoods here.
Hebden Bridge Hedgehogs v Grope Lane Giants
7th v 8th A contender for Match of the Round.  Hedgies had a strong win in Rd 1 but had a disappointing Rd 2. Will this yo yo continue. Giants will be coming off a strong win last week and will have tails up.  Much will depend if Giants captain can maintain his form and if he does favour Giants but Hedgehogs with HGA will get home if contained.
Wrexham Knights v Blackpool Bunnies
10th v 11th - Despite the closeness on the table expect the Knights to put the Bunnies to the sword. Bunnies will need to contain Knights captain if they are to have any chance.
Hastings Hurricanes v Oxford Lions
4th v 12th - Should be an easy win for the Hurricanes here.
Leeds Leeches v Staines Steins
14th v 3rd - Hard to go past the Steins here who are laying down the gauntlet to other teams.  Leeches really struggling at the moment.
Birmingham Dragons v Swansea Breakers
5th v 16th - No contest here with the Dragons coming off the highest score so far this year facing the bottom placed Breakers. Only chance for Breakers if they produce a tidal wave to down the dragon but that aint going to happen.
Huddersfield Hawks v Winchester Werewolves.
1st v 9th - Should be a win to the Werewolves but an upset win by the Hawks would not surprise especially if they contain Wolves midfield.

As we have a Thursday night start the following rules will apply as partial lock out will be in play:

Team to be lodged in UF by bounce on Thursday (Teams locked in UF at bounce of first game of the round).
Teams to also be lodged in this thread and players from Crows and Cats will be locked at bounce on Thursday night
Captain and Vice Captain will be locked at bounce.
Remaining players will be locked at bounce of Demons and Bombers game on Friday. Changes to teams allowed but must be done in this thread so UF can be adjusted.
No loopholing will be allowed though,

Yes, no Greene, Lienert, Cuningham or Brodie, and Dunstan & Clarke very close to being dropped by their AFL sides. Depth was already pretty bad but being severely tested at the moment. Depth guys like Lipinski, LFog, Bewley, Casboult, Jeff Garlett, Bailey Dale etc nowhere to be seen yet either.
