The Islanders - winning aside- would surely be having the short term goal of scoring 150+ soon, before the doubters creep in. The Cobras meanwhile have showed a new steely resolve that was sorely missing last year, which has already seen them win two games. Will they do it this week? Hmm, not sure. Islanders for me.

The Thunder leaned on the crowd last week to get a tense win over the Sands, who was the second team out of 2 to score 140+ against them. The Dillos again scored around the 125 mark, which you feel is doing their fine list rebuild justice. It'll click one week, but I'm not sure it's this one. Thunder for me.

The Destroyers crashed back down to earth has their top heavy list again reared its ugly head. However, I'm sure they won't have as many in-game injuries in the future, but to take a huge percentage hit against a mid-tier team in Tokyo... might hurt later in the year. The Sands might even fancy themselves against Dublin, having shown a new level in their game last week and will also welcome the imminent return of Mummy! What a comeback! Man, it really makes me wanna tip the Sands! But the last time I tipped against Dublin, they top scored, so will back the Destroyers here.

The Samurai masterclassed a giant of the game last week, and will have to back it up again in my MATCH OF THE ROUND! Lycett's Tokyo came to play against Dublin and they MURDERED them in a performance that makes you stand up and notice. The Tigers have arguably been the best team of the year so far, who where at their most intimidating selves last week with the highest score of the round. Whilst I'd have them as hot favourites for this contest, I WANT TO BELIEVE IN THE YEAR OF THE SAMURAI!

The Revolution perhaps showed last week that they shouldn't be discounted this year, with a solid score of 137 entering that 'dangerous' week-to-week proposition for teams. This is no different for the Magpies, who experienced an unfortunate bout of injuries mid-game to kill any chance of a win and rob what would have been an otherwise great score. They haven't scored 140+ yet! They will this week. Seoul for me.

In one of your more unconvincing 2-0 starts to the year, the Brewers haven't quite kicked on as they'd like this year with only two 130+ scores so far. The Reindeers meanwhile improved on their Round 1 collapse, and no doubt would be eager to take the nervous scalp of a long time rival. If you had to choose though HelloBurg/Dazpplz, would you take the WXV win over me, or the Essendon win over the Dees? Coz if I had to choose, I flowering hope Berlin run away from a loose ball like a Guelfi or Langford.

I've liked the Suns start to the year so far! With two solid scores of 136 and 135, they've showed their rebuild is well on track and even ready to compete in the 7-12 bracket in the comp, and so soon! They'll need a good 20 or more points than that though to take on the rampaging Wolves, whose only peer so far this year has been the Tigers. With that in mind, Toronto for me.

The Saints didn't have a centurion last week. I'm sure that'll change eventually. The Spetsnaz will bank on this free hit and get themselves up for a full tilt at Round 4 I'm sure. Coniglio can take a (another?) rest this week.

The Royals have given me the most joy so far this season, posting their highest scoring first 2 rounds since... *checks 2018, 2017, 2016 and 2015 records*  at least 2014! Maybe earlier! The Jaguars have cause for concern IMO, despite a solid showing of 142 last week. Whilst I'd bank of Rio being consistently better this year, London's midfield is on fire at the moment and I could see them winning this match! But... Crippa & Gus is hard to ignore pre-game. Rio for me.

1403 and 1411 first two rounds, think we'll stretch our legs and crack out a 1500+ this week.
Gaff returns and hopefully Ahern available, selection table is full of options.
