Couple of interesting ones popping up

Mixed news for @GoldCoastSUNS on the injury front - Corey Ellis to miss 4-6 weeks with a high ankle sprain, while draftee Jez McLennan is a test this week after scans confirmed he had just bone bruising on his knee.

Sauce Jacobs in doubt for  Thursday Night

Geelong: Gary Ablett will play in Round 3, Lachie Henderson will replace Jack Henry (Hamstring) via @cleary_mitch

Leon Cameron confirmed that Josh Kelly will play against Richmond, Toby Greene likely to miss one more. Didn’t guarantee a Shane Mumford return but hard to see him not playing. Sam Taylor right to go @AFLcomau

TR: Ollie trained really well today, I imagine he's ready to go #pafclive

Key-position Bomber Cale Hooker is eyeing off a return to the senior side this week after recovering well from a calf strain suffered in early March.

Nige

Bachar Houli missing again this week, so there are spots open. I'd expect Balta and Caddy in at the very least.

Crows ruckman Sam Jacobs ruled out of Thursday night's clash with Geelong with a knee injury. No timeline for his return

Collingwood: If Taylor Adams gets through training on Thursday he'll play in Round 3 - Nathan Buckley via @WhateleySEN

Interesting who goes out?  Will it effect Moores points with sharing of points?

Tough call on who misses out. Maybe Aish? Not sure it will effect Moore but may put a little dent in Beams & Trleloar. Port have a similar situation with reports that Wines, Hartlett & Howard could come into the team. Obviously Watts & Amon are out but I have no idea who that 3rd player would be.

Why would it affect crisp? Crisp doesn't play in the middle anymore.
I'd say it pushes beams and Sidebottom forward a bit more.

Agree with AN here, Adams will be in the guts and push Sidebum or Beams forward. At least I hope so, as I have Crisp.

Seriously, Darcy Moore affected? Cmon now let's not throw scare statements out there. Darcy Moore got 93 points last week almost purely off his defensive efforts. Out of every player in that Collingwood backline he was the one defender that was NOT involved in the chip to chip game. I traded him in last week so was watching closely, but if you don't want to take my word for it then the numbers do back me up.

Crisp [14 marks], Roughead [13], Howe [14], Aish [8], Langdon [9]. Then you had Sidey, Phillips and Mayne who all managed double digit marks as well. Brayden Maynard and Darcy Moore had 4 each, neither were involved. Moore had 9 kicks, Only Varcoe, Elliott and the ruckmen had less than him. Another thing that shows he's not involved.

So even if an Adams return pushes a midfielder onto the half back rotations (say Pendlebury), it should not have anything to do with Moore whose points were from him HTB free kicks, intercept marks, spoils etc, stuff that he does when the opposition has the ball.

Disclaimer: This doesn’t mean that Darcy Moore will continue to score 90+ every week, but saying he will drop because of the return of a midfielder to the team is a claim with zero evidence to back it up

Spot on.

What an absolute reach. It actually gets irritating when people try to link every inclusion/exclusion to a popular fantasy player.
