Seriously, Darcy Moore affected? Cmon now let's not throw scare statements out there. Darcy Moore got 93 points last week almost purely off his defensive efforts. Out of every player in that Collingwood backline he was the one defender that was NOT involved in the chip to chip game. I traded him in last week so was watching closely, but if you don't want to take my word for it then the numbers do back me up.

Crisp [14 marks], Roughead [13], Howe [14], Aish [8], Langdon [9]. Then you had Sidey, Phillips and Mayne who all managed double digit marks as well. Brayden Maynard and Darcy Moore had 4 each, neither were involved. Moore had 9 kicks, Only Varcoe, Elliott and the ruckmen had less than him. Another thing that shows he's not involved.

So even if an Adams return pushes a midfielder onto the half back rotations (say Pendlebury), it should not have anything to do with Moore whose points were from him HTB free kicks, intercept marks, spoils etc, stuff that he does when the opposition has the ball.

Disclaimer: This does mean that Darcy Moore will continue to score 90+ every week, but saying he will drop because of the return of a midfielder to the team is a claim with zero evidence to back it up
I'm claiming you personally responsible if he doesn't ;)

This is similar to what I was referring to above. Crisp may be affected in Pendles pushes back and becomes the link up player across HB. I know who's boot I would prefer it on out of Crisp and Pendles.

It was just food for thought. Not trying to argue or anything, or scare people off Crisp.

It’s pretty self explanatory, regardless of any headwear fetish you may have - this is for TEAM ANNOUNCEMENTS.

Any discussions re roles, players positions etc can be discussed elsewhere. It’s a sticky so that you get just the ins and outs succinctly in one spot. Discussions means you have to search through the thread for relevant info...

There is aboslutely no point in posting a thread with team announcements and not leaving leway for discussion, there are ample sources if all you want are the announcements themselves

kilbluff1985

Collingwood: If Taylor Adams gets through training on Thursday he'll play in Round 3 - Nathan Buckley via @WhateleySEN

Interesting who goes out?  Will it effect Moores points with sharing of points?
How will it affect Moore??

In that case, yep it’s gonna “massively” affect Crisp  :P
