Noone considering Salem?

Had consecutive tons a couple of times last year but still only averaged 79. Very inconsistent scorer historically. It's tempting though.

If we're asking RDT questions, I'm weighing up a few moves there too.

1. Hold Greene, Heeney, and Witherden
2. Trade Heeney and Greene to Boak/Kelly and Newnes/Rozee (can't afford Worpel)
3. Trade Heeney and Greene to two of Dahlhaus/Worpel/Newnes/Rozee
4. Trade Greene and Witherden to Whitfield (already have Lloyd) and Powell/Rozee

Something else when I have no cash in the bank...

This is more for RDT (that forum is dead, so I'll try my luck here), but is it worth using a trade to get rid of Heeney and bring in Boak?  I also wouldn't have minded Kelly but I already have Danger and Menegola in my forward line and having three Cats on the one line seems over kill.

I'm making the exact same move, so my vote is yes  ;D

Weighing that up myself man. I think i'll pull the trigger

Cheers, guys.  I have used two trades already but I think this is the right move.  I probably won't make another trade for a couple of weeks anyway until a rookie is ripe for the picking.  I have $99k in the bank so I'm sitting ok money wise for a future upgrade.

Let's hope he keeps up his early form!

I'd trade both Heeney and Greene I think. Worpel and Rozee would be good gets I think.

Even with limited trades? My concerns about the Worpel/Rozee option is that there's every chance neither ends up being a keeper. Then it becomes four trades for those two forward spots. At least Boak/Kelly + Newnes/Rozee is one keeper (and the Newnes pick is a small chance at two).

WhatMate

Best Option out of Wilkie, Lockhart, Burgess, Rotham, Joyce?

Need to bring one of these guys in so I can get Tim Kelly

It’s either that or bring in Rozee (bench) and Newnes

I'd also trade Greene and Heeney but go with Boak and Rozee to get in.  You get a keeper in Boak and a rookie that's going to make you a decent chunk of cash, plus he's scoring decently as well.  Not sure how much cash that would leave you but I'd imagine you would be well set to make an upgrade in a week or two.

I've made three trades already in RDT, but I'd rather use them now before the price change, plus I don't plan on using another trade for at least two weeks.

Yeah, maybe making sure I still have a keeper is the way to go. I think Greene to Rozee is all but locked in right now. I don't have to move Heeney... but if I do, would you go Boak over Kelly?

I do like Kelly but Boak has the higher ceiling.

Ok... I've settled on Heeney to Worpel. I think it's a smart move for this format.

For my other trade, I'm stuck on one of the following:
1. Hurn to Rich - cash
2. Hurn to Whitfield - I think he'll score 130+ against the Tigers
3. Cripps to Rich - cash, stronger def, have to field Petrucelle for this week until I upgrade a forward next week...
4. Cripps to Whitfield - stronger def, have to field Petrucelle for this week until I upgrade a forward next week...

I thought I was crazy considering trading Cripps out so Im glad Im not the only one... I would go Hurn to Whitfield out of these.

Currently have $132,000 in the bank.
Thoughts on Cripps to Worpel and Hore to Rich?
Otherwise ill just go Hore to Schultz via dpp. I cant find anything else to do with my trades unless Wilkie isn't named. Still have Balta but there isn't really a trade target within that price range...

I like those moves. Hore up to rich is a great upgrade! Cripps out this week makes sense as he'll get tagged by Hewett and lose cash for a few weeks. Can always bring him back later.

For mine, I can also trade Hore if I do the Heeney to Worpel move but only to another more expensive rookie like Rozee or Collins. Thoughts on that? Or is Hurn to Whitfield a better move?

Chelskiman

Was just coming here to ask about Cripps to Whitfield in AFL Fantasy as well.  I'm really scared of the tag that Cripps is likely to get and Whitfield should be good for a ton at the bare minimum.  Would mean I have to swing Duursma into my mids though.

It would mean I have a strong defence of Laird, Lloyd, Whitfield, Smith, Williams, Scrimshaw but my mids would look a little bare with Macrae, Brayshaw, Rockliff, B. Crouch, Liberatore, Walsh, Duursma, Constable.

Doesn't look too bad .. regarding mids

I downgraded Cripps to get Kelly into my Forward line.

My mids are pretty bare  :o

Coniglio, Rocky, Taranto, Sheed, Brouch, Libba, Cus, Walsh (Constable, Scott)

Hopefully Libba becomes Macrae, Cus becomes Treloar, Walsh becomes a premo. .. to start with
