Sunday or Monday must lodge its Team list with the AFL by 5.00pm
eastern standard time on the preceding Thursday. The Team list lodged
at this time must contain the name and guernsey number of 18 Players
in playing position and 7 Emergency Players. A Club is not obliged at this
time to identify which of the 7 Players will be Interchange Players and
Emergency Players. '

Sounds like you pick your bench from the 7 players. The guys in playing position are in or am I reading it wrong?

was this from an updated rules page? Because if so it’s hilarious how it’s not updated to say 8 Emergency players, seeing as that is how many they name now, not 7.

Pretty standard for a couple of the emergencies to not play ressies and be on stand by just in case someone in the 22 is injured before the bounce etc

Why did you do the trade before final team announcement? A second trade involving a Thursday or Friday player?

I did the trade this morning, thinking his JS was shaky and wanting to make a correction trade this week so I didn't end up having too many things to fix next week! I can loop Duursma with Hore today. Plus it gives me 100K and hopefully Duursma can score similarly to Ridley and make more cash.

Always wait until the final teams are named if you can, especially with the Dons playing before Port but both final lineups being named close together.

For example if Pierce and Ridley are both named as late changes I'm holding both guys this week and only doing Collins to Duursma. It gives me the flexibility to grab Mummy next week and turn Hore>Moore or Ridley>Moore depending if Ridley holds his spot. It allows me to keep my cash in the bank while still offloading my dud players next week. Unless you turned Ridley>Moore this week you need to hold until it's a certainty.

You also want to make sure Duursma isn't a late out or it cooks you there as well
