To be fair the rumour was pretty strong here in SA, I saw it multiple times across
social media. Maybe let them know a reference needs to be posted with information
of this kind in the future and leave it at that.

It's not that hard - a warning if there's no reference to the statement, or no admission thst it's a rumour. Only a question of one warning or two before a brief banning from posting ...

It's not that they posted a valid rumour, it's that they said they are definitely out, when they are in fact not out at all. Someone in a rush that sees that could immediately trade them out. Pretty poor. Glad to hear the mod team are monitoring it though! :)

not funny or impressed.  as stated often rushing to do last minute updates and checks.   it is bad enough sometimes connecting to the relevant fantasy site without having to fact check people being a smarta***

Not sorry I didn't take it that way. :-\ If the site has an ethos of helping one another, then there is a responsibility to others to be honest, explain the background and not mislead.


The rules that exist for FF Chat should apply just as much for the Forums as thay do in the chat, methinks.
