From now on as we only have another 3 rds to go and the need for rising star to play a minimum of 5 games will be only nominating those still eligible for this week and the next 3 weeks.

So Rd 13 Nominee is Josh Battle on 144 points just in front of team mate Gryan Miers and Hedgies Will Settlefield
I thought we were using the same criteria as the AFL?
Only regarding eligible players for the award but requirement for minimum 5 games still stands,

Interesting, but how do we know if a player is going to play 5 games when they get their noms early in the year?

E.g. Drew got nominated in round 1, before he had played 5 games.

They get the nomination but when we get to vote any that have not played 5 games are eliminated.eg currently we have 4 nominations who would be ineligible.

Ah right, that makes sense.

Sorry for the delay but looks like the post I made on Monday got caught up in forum issues and did not load.

Rd 13 Winner from those still eligible is Callum Brown just in advance of Will Settlefield.  Surely Setters will get a nomination over the next 2 weeks.

Callum Brown has played 13 games prior to this year though hasn't he?

Yes, Brown shouldn't be able to get a Rising Star nod.

The joy of having 2 Callum Browns one at Pies and one at Giants. So thatnk you Callim Brown from Steins ineligible so nomination now goes to Will Settlefield.  Cameron Zuhraar got 140 but as he will not play the required 5 games nomination goes to Setters.

I think we remove Walsh entirely and then vote.
