I liked this comment under the JR podcast re: Heeney. "I had a look at Heeneys score for the 2018 season, and he just fell in a hole after the bye, in fact he finished the season valued at $440k! So far, this season appears to be more of the same, so I am moving on the bludger NOW"
For anyone curious, he averaged 107 up until the bye, then got concussed in round 15. He then averaged 91 for the remainder of the season (not counting the 17 he scored in R15).
not making it any easier to keep him.

What you're saying is burnman Jack Billings finished last year in better form...?
Billings averaged 93.4 over the same period..  so yes :-[

I guess none of us noticed Heeney's drag down to mediocrity because everyone had him.. Strange that almost everyone (myself included) had him as an F2 lock.

And there would have been many that traded Billings to Heeney last year and wouldn't even have noticed they in fact downgraded  ;D

pulled the trigger
heeney>lloyd + bailey smith>clark     figure min 350+ points ahead on henney trade alone.   probably worth 2-3000 places in overall

Somehow have landed on the following:

Dusty > Pendles
Heeney > Kelly

On the assumption that Heeney is injured and Dusty has forgotten what a tackle is.

Was very close to starting Pendles this year.  I think he's back.

edit: I've already talked myself down from the Dusty trade.

Trying to decide whether I correct Greene up or down. Have 426k which gives me options of worpel, daniel or dahl as an upgrade or Moore, rozee, McCarthy as a downgrade.

Anyone got any confidence in any of these guys?

LaHug

Getting very close to doing this...

Greene -> Rozee
Heeney -> Lloyd/Whitfield/Kelly (which one?)

Someone talk me out of it!

Or talk me into this one...

Greene -> Worpel
Heeney -> Boak/Daniel/Dahlhaus (which one?)

I have no cash so it's two trades or none (or just Greene to Rozee)

Save your trades.

Worpel is no keeper
It is a long season with never enough trades

What are everyones thoughts on Kelly coming back. Help or hinder Whitfield?

Shouldn't impact him either way. Might take the tagging attention off Cogs if anything.

Cogs didn't cope well with a tag last week and is more damaging on the scoreboard than Kelly. Richmond don't really tag so I don't see  any effect this week.

The oppo coach could have an impact on Whitfield if that is his desire but I don't think Kelly in will make any diff. For this week Richmond generally don't tag but it's not impossible for Kamdyn to get an accountable role on Whitfield, maybe? Dunno. It depends what data concerns the coaching group but I certainly wouldn't allow a run & carry player the quality of Whitfield an absolute free reign like he had last week. Obviously the scoreboard at the time is always relevant to coaching box decisions as well & WCE appeared to focus on limiting the coal face impact of Cogs & Taranto. A task they achieved with aplomb.

There is no chance Richmond tags, especially not with Kamdyn. If anyone, it would be Jack Graham who occassionally has run-with roles but it's not a hard tag, and it's on on-ballers, which Whitfield is not.

Kelly is such a great user and can find a lot of uncontested pill. I see him playing a similar role Lachie played last week so I would've thought it would affect him a little
