I literally cannot fathom how the morons in charge at Essendon decided that, amidst all the lazy shower that went down in Sydney, Jordan Ridley was the defender that needed to be dropped. Jordan Ridley, the 191cm half back flanker needs to be dropped for 180cm midfielder/half forward Parish.

As an Essendon supporter, I'd like to profusely apologise to any supercoaches with Ridley for the lunatics running our asylum.

And with that said, I think I'll sideways him for Moore...

Also leaves a double trade open next week if Grundy underperforms to Mummy, and getting Hoff into the forwards for Greene if another week passes opening up the ruck cover.

F: Rozee , Setterfield / Pettruccelle , Burgess.

Think I'll wait to see if cousins makes the final cut tomorrow and work out what to do.

Only Hore not playing at this stage but not impressed with the two GCS lads and don't have Parker fwd.

Depends on Cousins as to if and what the second trade is.

Also as an Essendon supporter, it's a massive surprise to me although I guess it shouldn't be. There was at least ten players whose performance was so abysmal that they deserved to have been dropped for this match, and yet none of them have been dropped. Instead of making a statement about personal effort & team play, we pretend it's a structural issue and dump one of our brightest young kids.

Sorry but even from a non-SC perspective, that team change just really showers me. Ridley was one of the few to actually put in effort last week, not to mention in JLT. It's pathetic that it counts for nothing while serial coasters like Myers & Zaharakis continue to face no repercussion for the lacklustre shower they serve up. I don't believe for a second that having Ridley in addition to Francis, Ambrose & Hurley was the reason we lost that match when we had no problem playing Goddard or Gleeson loose down there for the last two years.
