I am a pretty safe normally. I have been playing this game for 8 years and have watched my end of year rank get worst each year. Decided I need to take more risks. So I am exploring the risky ideas at the start of each week. Took the safe option this week and it netted me 141pts!

Well next week you could bring in stack to your mids at 102K and a 108 in that rolling average breakeven should be low until rd4 so he could make you money and be decentish cover. Especially with tiges guns out

Next week though would look at Gibbons to Stack - Gibbons although a slow burn has risen to 123k and has 0 B/E this week so will rise a little further, Stack will be on the bubble and you pocket whatever Gibbons has made.

Regarding Fyfe if only the week not the best but a lot will be in the same boat - Scott or Atkins fair to play on field and similar with Setters or Petru with Kelly - Not ideal butt you are saving trades which is probably more important.

Leaves me a bit short in the backline though. Don’t love it. Any advice?

I think the plan as a whole is sound but I would just wait for Ross instead, that would also give you an extra week of Gibbons earnings (11k which isn't much but better than nothing). If you have other trades planned I would just go a week early on Ross, risky from one perspective but I reckon he has better JS.

I am cooling on Stack and will look at Ross next week.

One trade I am looking at and my forward line is exactly the same as yours including yours is Sttlefield to O'Brien via Bines, Reasoning Setters is suspended for 2 weeks and will stay at $195k. O'Brien if he plays the next 2 games and averages 74 will rise to $257k. Risk is O'Brien not playing 2 games.

Gibbons>Stack last week turned out to be a poor trade.I though Gibbons was stalling.  Netted 50k but of course Gibbons gets a 100 to kick start his cash gen.

Planned to go Constable > Rocky, Atkins>Ross but with Constable not playing the plans no longer.
