Pretty solid team. I'm worried about the amount of defender rookies we will be relying on but Collins helps (I'm in the same boat). Just keep an eye out for Round 13 bye in the FWD line and Round 14 bye in the Mids.

I know it is!
I have played with downgrading Libba to Butters and then use the money for Moore upgrade but it only gives me someone like Greene. Other option is upgrade Def, and Ridley looks like a good pick but it doesn't add up.

A) Libba + Moore
B) Butter + Greene
or
C) Libba + Hore + Whitfield
D) Butters + Ridley + Laird

Still like option A.

Of course the key rooks dominate. But the perceived locks start to fall out too. This is where I might start to take a punt on some different premos.

My concern is playing Clark & Duursma on the field. My personal preference is Clarke OR Duursma.

(Supercoach life was so much simpler with Roberton at D4!)

I think you team is is good to go, but if it were in my hands:

Trade Macrae down to Fyfe, and do a little wrangling-magic with one or two others to get the cash to upgrade Hore to Ridley.

But even if you didn't.... I think you'll score nicely in Rd 1 and get off to a wonderful start.

I dunno mate, obviously trades are valuable but if you think Williams is not worth it Laird is there.
I am going to wait until another week to watch the rookies (Collins mainly).
I'd save trades this round as scores could reverse next week.
However as Ringo said, go with your gut.

Heeney, Hore and Dusty only real problems.
I was thinking about Libba > Rocky but Libba is getting a fair bit of the ball.

Okay so with some of the players you've thought about trading. Don't touch Walsh because he is going to probably make you more money than sheed will and it's not worth wasting a trade for. Williams seems to be picking up form from what we saw in round 2 so keep. Hore may get a chance this week because May is out this week and i don't think Lewis is ready either. I think there is a bit of a worry with Heeney and whether its his ankle that is limiting his time in the midfield, but i would just wait on him because imo he'll be a top 6-8 forward by the end of the year. Martin is the most appropriate to get rid of out of those because he looks very slow and unmotivated on the field right now.. I would honestly look at maybe straight swapping him for someone like Neale or if you do want to take the risk, then go for Rockliff.

Agreed with EA. Only trade I would be making would be Dusty to Neale or some other uber prem. Don't muck around going down.
