Just realised I have the VC on Cripps, I must've changed it before the first bounce and forgotten about it. Do I try Gawn or lock it in? Decisions decisions...
Personally I think the reward is not worth the risk as those who put the C on Grundy last night will attest to. At best you’ll probably gain 25 points if Gawn has a monster, whereas if he has a quiet one or heaven forbid gets injured in the first quarter......

I'm thinking Fyfe. North with no Ben Jacobs. Otherwise it probably has to be Macrae if I'm paying that much for him
Reckon Macrae gets the Hewett tag. I'm not expecting huge score from him first up.
Forget the price tag. That was kind of my thinking with Grundy and look how that turned out.

Yep take it as one who got greedy expecting Grundy to score big against Stanley,  45 points lost there,  Say Gawn goes 150 you only lose 24points.

Yeah I suspect you're right. Especially in this early stage where we aren't 100% sure who's going to what.

Got greedy going with Grundy too and not taking Cripps. Kick in the guts to start. >:(

Fyfe v Gawn V Macca is tough, Fyfe elbow, gross heat here for Gawn (idk what his tank is like) and Hewitt for Macca

nas

I would go Fyfe at home if I had him.

Yup. Same decision to make. I think I might avoid the ruck after watching last night. Probably going to decide on Macrae vs Fyfe. Tag is a real threat for Macrae but Fyfe is a bit of an unknown with rust etc.

Other option is Oliver since he is probably a safe 90 at worst and can easily produce a great score.

Balls to the wall risk reward option is Sloane against the Hawks without a tagger

Yeah or Matty Crouch

Money Shot

I’m taking the punt on Gawn! Don’t think he’s ever had a midfield this good around him. Hopefully he can smash it.

Same was said about Grundy last night vs Rhys Stanley. I think rucks are going to need to hit the scoreboard like Nank on Thursday to really smash out a big score.

Why though? Scoring hasn’t changed has it?
