I really want to run more mini-games before the finals begin, but I've kinda run out of viable ideas... I'll take any suggestions!

How about some kind of POD game where we have to PM you our list

Could be something simple like pick one player from each game/team and if more than one picks them then everyone gets a donut.

Or you could go a bit more technical like for every other coach who picks a player you lose 10 points from their score
eg I pick Grundy but 3 other coaches also pick him so we all cop -30 from his score.

Love it! I'll get one of these up and running for this week, more ideas for future weeks would be appreciate from anyone sitting on something creative!

Also like both of those ideas aha

Idea 1

Do a minigame where we pick a range (inclusive) of scores for however many players.

So each coach must pick 7 players, in a 2-2-1-2 format

I might choose:

83-85 (inclusive) def, 102-104 def
112-14 mid, 101-103 mid
98-101 rucl
78-80 fwd, 97-99 fwd

So we don't actually have a specific player picked, but then once the round is over, RNG picks one of the names in each position that scored any of the scores in the range.

If you fail to land anyone in the range, you cop a donut.

Idea 2

Another idea is that because we have 9 teams. Each coach (who participates) picks a team and then everyone is allocated a remaining team, and then we have to field a side of 5, in the format of 1-1-1-1-1 (under some random stipulations: a defender whose name contains no more than two vowels, a mid who who average less than 80, a ruc who has played less than 100 games), a fwd who has previously played for another club, a utility that is a first year player) from those two teams.

Idea 3

Each coach picks a team to "lock out" selection of players from (I choose Collingwood), and then also a random player from any other team (Rowan Marshall). Therefore, no Pies and Rowan Marshall can be selected. This means all Saints bar Rowan can be selected and they (both team and other Saints) cannot be locked out by another coach. First in, best dressed rule applies to the "loclout" process.

Not sure if it's been done before, but what is the gold return for trading in a SE?

Idea 1 - Secret Santa

Each person picks a stable of 5 players (Can be more or less) prior to teams being named (Sent via PM to FTC)
These players must each meet a different criteria (EG. Club Captain, First Year Player, Current Top 10 DT Average, Traded player from this year, Under 60 Average)
If a player does not play the player will be awarded the points of the highest scoring player for the week.

Each competitor based on a random order will pick the team of another player without knowing what they will get.

Highest Score Wins

Idea 2 - Acronym Game
Each player gets 50 letters
Each player selects a number of Cons and Vowels Randomised (Or Can be the same letters for all)
You must use these letters to make as many players surnames as you can. You get the points the players score
For every letter remaining not used you get a 50 point (Cons) or 100 point (Vowel) penalty
Highest Score wins

Idea 3 - All Australian
Based on the All Australian Team from last year each player must order the players in order of the score they will get
Most players in correct position wins
Tiebreak is on the total points scored of the players in the correct position.

So all SE's are considered gold then?  What about a gold SE?

The card keeps it's 'orgininal' value even if converted to a SE, so gold rarity SE would be 12G, silver 5G and bronze 2G.
