I wouldn't say you were short in the mids.
The whole team is pretty well rounded and having 112k to play with is almost a luxury.

I think you want witherden and williams in defence and you want brad crouch in the mids. I like dom sheed in the mids (79 touches in 2 jlt games) but seems a lot of people are jumping on liberatore also in the mids. (dirt cheap, but may play fwd also). The rooks you sort out when teams are named so its good to have cash left for those changes. I'm not sold on miles but im no expert. good luck

Laird to smith,  miles to B Crouch.    This will strengthen mids. Laird is overpriced given milera and smith and the crouch boys will all be getting plenty of ball.

DEF: Great start. Roberton is obviously a watch and see after his last health scare. Collins is being used as a key defender which hurts his scoring prospects, reckon there are other rookies worth looking at over Collins now.

MID: Yeah, I would look at Miles, perhaps look at B Crouch, Libba, or Sheed instead. Otherwise, looks very solid.

RUC: Classic Grawndy, no comment needed.

FWD: McAdam and Cavarra unlikely to make the Rd 1 cut. Maybe move Setterfield down forward and relook at rookies.

Overall: Some great elements there, great start!  :)

Looks really good. Only suggestion I can make if you're unsure about Roberton, is to downgrade Gawn to Goldy and use the cash to upgrade Roberton to Williams. Depends on your thoughts about Gawn v Goldy.

Maybe run only one of Smith or Roberton, Smith is a more safe bet but Roberton has more potential, it's really up to you though, I went with Smith over Roberton because if Roberton plays good in the first rounds, you can downgrade Smith to him.

I guess need to change up now that Roberton is out for season. Obviously just need to check rookies when teams are released.
Not sure how Smith (devon) will go this year. Was a good pick last year but may be more fwd this year with the arrival of shiel
