Lloyd, Whitfield, Hurn the BIG 3.

Ryan and Houli not far behind at all.

Stewart up there too but doesn't seem to have the same high ceiling as the others.

Would you avoid Sicily & Laird then?

My current defender premiums are Hurn, Lloyd, Whitfield & Williams, so I have a tough decision to make on who should fill the final 2 spots.

You have the top 3 defenders atm, so I would get Ryan in next as a POD, followed by Laird/Stewart.

Laird is consistent, but not having him is no threat at all as he isn't putting up big scores

I currently have Lloyd, Whitfield, Ryan, Stewart, Williams and I'll be grabbing Sicily after his bye to finish that line

Hurn is the one I miss, but I'm not forking up 600k for him when I need mids who cost that

Hore to Sicily already marked in for me, will only cost 60k which is ludicrous.

Hurn I still want but hard to find the cash to be honest. Will see if I can do a Brodie Smith trade in round 14, at least Hurn has his 161 roll out of the average so may just get him around 570k.

Judd Magic

My backs atm - Hurn, Whitfield, Lloyd, Williams, Smith, Hore (Duursma, Hinge)

I'm pretty happy with that setup and don't think I'll be touching it for a while.

Hore at a pinch could be good enough for D6 the way he is going. ATM he is the least of my worries.

I need to work on getting a couple of more premo mids in which will be my priority.  :-X

Haven't watched a lot of Luke Ryan but whats the reasoning behind him going 140, 80,80, 130 etc... Any reason why he drops off some weeks?

He's their general down back - plays a similar roll to Hurn & Lloyd in a way

Ryan is always the deepest person back and like Sydney do with Lloyd and WCE with Hurn they always want the ball exiting the D50 through him because he has such a beautiful long kick. Add to that he takes a lot of the kick outs as well - perfect game for SC and as you can see by his scoring he has a very good floor as he rarely goes under 85 and can pump out 130+ scores too

Started him as a POD after having him last year too so I've been watching him for a couple of years now

I plan on upgrading Moore and Duursma to Ryan and Sicily just after their bye. Any reason he isn't as consistent as a Lloyd?

Nathan Wilson is one of their other option's down back from what i've seen in terms of using the ball, plus he takes some of the kick-ins as well.

I'm not really sure his lack of consistency is a problem when he rarely goes under 85? He's basically doing what Laird is doing but he actually bangs out big scores while Laird doesn't.

Lloyd is consistent because he's an A grade seagull.

If Whitfield wasnt a must have or you fall behind the pack. I would grab ryan in a heartbeat

What are people’s thoughts on Brodie Smith? Are people trading him out and if so Laird vs Sicily?

I'm probably trading him over the byes.

Changed my mind on Ryan. Not that he's bad but more that I think Blakely will be better.
Save $67,400 on the deal.
Blakely in 579 teams (0.3%) haha. watch that rocket.
As long as he gets 25 possessions, as he is prone to do, he will score 100+ every week. Just hope he can stay on the park.

no eye deer

JJ is another POD nobody is talking about. Consistent, cheap and scoring well.
