G'day SC gang- good luck to you all this year.

Like most, I decided on R1 and R2 first and then tried to build a team from there, with what little money was left! ;D

Went with set and forget rucks as I believe Preuss will not play too many games for the Dees unless its an emergency and Gawn's 130's will be invaluable. I remember trying to get Grundy in during last season and his price just keep climbing and I couldn't ever achieve it.

Anyway, this is version 1 of many no doubt so have a look and have a crack.

D4/F4 both being rookies Is the only concern I have. Could make things hard if rookies get dropped etc

5 prem mids v rookies at D4 and F4. Risk v Reward. I see defence rookies as a real issue at the moment but that could change once we see JLT. After Collins at the moment can not see how any fit into best 22.
My thoughts though and good luck.

Have chopped and changed a fair bit and am going with English at R2.

It obviously gives me more money but it also gives memory time to see how Gawn goes with Preuss.

What I like about this team is only 4 rookies and Setterfield on field.
If Greene is named I would bring him in for McGrath, moving Moore back.

Going for a cash league win guys. Have used 2 trades so far, 1 last week Balta > Parker and 1 this week, Hore>Scrimshaw.
Have $133k in bank and am playing a weak team this week.
Have decided to keep Greene for now.
Can do Dusty to anyone.....advice please!
Or can do Heeney via DPP to a prep back like Lloyd/Whitfield.

Any advice would be appreciated as always.

how is the mids weak??
most teams have 5 x 100+ players in the mids... he's got 6 (if you include what dusty is capable of)
so dropping down to 5 is not a big deal.

Hi all-
Burning through my trades but am top of the ladder in my cash league.
Can do Walsh and Moore to TKelly and Fyfe but not too sure.
Need to conserve trades to win cash league so really stuck for ideas this week.
All input appreciated.

How much cash?

I'd more more inclined to strengthen defence, possibly Scrimshaw up to premo defender.

Or Moore back to defence, Burgess up to Kelly.

Next week is set up for Walsh to Fyfe, both should go up by roughly the same amount.
