Thoughts??

PS: i know the RUC is very weak, but i think there is potential.

PassivePenguin

Like the team and structure, keep in mind Mumford wont be playing the first 2 games and that Greene is still on a limited program so might not be ready for round 1. Other than that good team!

Keeper27

Cheers for that... new team, minor changes...

happy with the structure and will change the rookies/MidPricers when JLT finishes.
With Titch gone i think Wingard will have to step up, KROOOZER/Libba/Robbo can only make money (if he stays on the park).

what i'm hoping for....

D1-D4: 85-105
M1-M5: 105-120
RUC: 95-105
F1-F4: 95-120

ubeaut

Like the structure and geez no Grundy/Gawn really allows depth everywhere else. Like Neale and Sicily both will be great PODs imo.
Would rather one of the GWS boys (Whitfield /Williams) over Ryan. And Sloane is very tag susceptible and has Hewett + Jacobs in the first 4 rounds.

rookies can be downgraded to make more cash depending on Rnd 1

SilverLion

Cogs in an interesting pick, loved having him from the start last year, but not sure at that price. Would go Laird over Sicily, just safer and could look to get Sicily during the year when he inevitably has one of 'those' games. Also, no Grundy?

And I've said it elsewhere, but love the Miles pick ;)

Money Shot

Really deep and well balanced side. Think Grundy is a must could top score by 20 or more points this year.

Ringo

Like most have said think Grundy is a must. With 0 cash though trust you have a plan if these lower priced rookies do not play. We get caught each year,
Apart from that side well balanced and time to sit for JLT,

HoleMeal

I like the side. Ruck opinions have been stated. Grundy is a must.

I love Sicily's scoring but can he be trusted to not lose his head and miss weeks?
Roberton- is he over his heart issues?

Neale and Wingard both at new clubs, sometimes they take time to settle in.

Overall- nice team.

DEF: Birchall can become Collins if he doesnt get up.
I know Sicily can get into trouble but i'm hoping he doesnt.
Roberton is worth the Risk.

i feel both will get off to a blinder, both are very good players and i feel they both will start well and score well.

changed Kroozer to Goldy. feel less anxious now.

I like what you've done, its definitely not a cookie cutter team and I have looked at all the POD's you have.  Maybe you have too many POD's though?  You want as many keepers as you can fit in to start, so maybe go over them and assess whether you think they will be there come season's end.  Otherwise it looks pretty solid!

Which PODs are you talking about?
Roberton and Birchall are stepping stones.
Neale and Dusty I'm hoping can go 110
I feel that Oliver might start slow and brayshaw will benefit from that

I was actually looking at your first post, so not as many POD's around as that.  Ditto with the Grundy advice.

Looks to good to me & I think you've extracted maximum advantage of picking Goldy over Gawn, the extra depth in the mids could be critical in getting a jump. Brayshaw an interesting pick, he wouldn't be my preference given the odds of being a top 10 mid. As a left field manauvre I'd replace Brayshaw with Gray, that would also provide a few loophole possibilities down the track. It would also shore up the odds of getting a legitimate keeper into the squad. I'm very bullish about Gray because I see many opportunities now that Polec & Wingard have defected.

Mills & Witherden slightly speculative but both are on my shortlist so I think there's definitely value, I reckon Witherden will benefit enormously from the kickout rule. Mills one to watch over the preseason.

As a back-up to Greene missing out, Gray to the forwards & bring in Miles/Hanners.
