This is what that other team would look like btw:

Ringo

Not really sold on Lloyd - Will he back up with 100+ or drop even lower. I have got him on watch as one of the prems more likely to fall.
Fyfe is a risk but worth taking. Will be interesting whether Zorko still attracts a tag or that goes to Neal or even Rich now that he is moving up the field.
Prefer team 1 though but undoubtedly team will change a lot before Rd 1.

GoLions

I did some things

If Greene looks good this weekend and next, may drop Gray to him at F3. Will be monitoring Libba and Miles as well, may turn them into a premo and rookie instead. Lloyd could become Laird or Ryan depending on if I need any cash or not for other upgrades (and how much). Pretty settled on the rest for now.

Can't wait to pummel ya this year

Probably one too many mid price options in the midfield. I like the Zorko pick, but I probably wouldn't grab both of Miles of Libba. I think the downgrade/upgrade there might be the right call. Mid rookies are looking good this year, forward rookies not so much. Will be interesting to see how steep the drop off is going to be along that line.

Yeah was kinda playing around with the structure to see how things look in case say some mid rookies don't get named rd1 (e.g. Bewley, Hind, Constable), but would still want to see Libba perform well again this week. Odds are I'll go back to premo/rookie though, really starting to like the look of Matt Crouch. Or i just drop 1 of Miles/Libba, and go Greene up fwd.

Side looks really good, but I do agree with that it's not worth having both Miles and Libba, especially after Miles first JLT match. As good as Miles has been, its going to be hard to score well at GC. I'd suggest downgrading Miles and use the cash to either bring Greene up forward in favour of a rookie or upgrade Libba to Crouch.

Just to confirm, Miles only played like half the game for the Suns, right? I thought he had actually scored quite well for his TOG, bit don't have the numbers on me atm

68 SC from 55% TOG. They did win this game though. ;)

Of the 3300 points up for grabs each week, can you see Miles scoring well when GC are getting beaten each week? That concern is why I'm staying away from Miles. Rookies are fine, but a midpricer?  :-\

There's still going to be some players who score points for them though, it's just harder to score elite numbers. If Miles averages 90+ then that's a win. Being in a shower team doesn't prevent you from doing that. As mentioned previously though, I'll be monitoring both Miles and Libba this weekend to see how they both go, along with the various mid rookies pushing their case for rd1, and make a decision after that.

From what I gather Constable is a lock for R1. I think you could safely start three of Cousins, Walsh, Butters, Hately and Constable on field.

You also have Caldwell and LDU who could be decent picks, plus Atkins and Gibbons sitting on the pine. A few of them are more expensive than regular picks, but it looks like a good crop of rookies this year.

GoLions

Don't mind the look of this

May not be great for the byes though, particularly up forward  :-X

Will have to have a better look at them after JLT is over I reckon

GoLions

Ok so after having a quick look at the byes...i probably should swap one of Heeney/Kelly for a Boak, Mundy, Gray, Smith etc.

Boak probably the most enticing of the lot there, Gray might be able to get cheaper at some point, Smith as well I reckon

SilverLion

Nice side GL. Hard to fault really. As you said, our fwd, def and ruck are nearly identical, but you've gone without Greene in the fwds, allowing you to go deeper in the mids. What do ya think Zorks will average this year?
