Hello Lads, welcome back for another season of ups and downs in the thing we call SuperCoach. Last year was year to forget for me. Having my worse year in 4 years ranking 21,216. Hoping 2019 brings some glory back to the Swag Bombers.

I just threw up a team very quickly without research in like 30 minutes and want some first impressions and feedback. I choose to go with the high end rookies so it gives me flexibility and it's always easier to downgrade than upgrade. I've also got $71,800 cash remaining for flexibility as after doing SuperCoach for 5 years and this being my 6th, I've learned when doing your first teams make sure you make self very flexible.

Money Shot

Pretty good team. I have no midpricers at this stage but if I was to have one from each line it would be Roberton, Libba and Greene. Good spread of players on each line.

Pretty good starting side mate. Well done.

Ringo

Nice Team to sit well done.  Good luck.

TommyC

Like the Wingard pick. Hopefully he plays solely mid with Titch obviously out.

SilverLion

Good side, very, very similar to my own except a couple of premo choices. Wingard should be a good pick with Titch going down, would expect him to play mostly mid.

Keeper27

like the others have said, with Titch OUT wingard is a must now.
good side

check out my team

Ringo

Nice team to sit on. Just a slight concern with Macrae as I have said elsewhere can he back up last year with Libba also returning.
Good luck

Thanks for all the advice and feedback fellas. I decided to get rid of Macrae for Oliver and he is a bit cheaper but can put up the same score. I have 138k left so before I sit on this team I want to do one upgrade but don't know what I should do? Should I upgrade Williams? If so too who or should I upgrade Greene and if so too who? Or should I just sit and wait with my 138k?

Cash left: 78k

Still have tons of cash left for flexibility and only made minors changes to the updated team. Did Macrae to Oliver as said in the last post they both can put up the same scores and Oliver is cheaper and also did Wingard to Dunkly but Wingard is still on my radar but Dunkly is there just for now. Still unsure what to do with Greene and Williams if I should just keep them at this stage this is my team until JLT starts but feedback is always wanted.

Are you selecting all 4 of Williams, Roberton, Greene and Libba to be keepers?

It's a lot of risk which would be better IMO to limit to 1 or 2 mid price options.

Greene still injured and not back on the track and no certainty at this stage to play round 1. He'd be the one I'd consider moving out.

Maybe drop Greene to a rookie and then Williams up to a more solid keeper option but again this depends on rookies. Nice team though.

Wasn't planning to keep all 4, was planning to keep maybe 2 or 3 when I do my final team but all of them are on my radar.

Make a few changes to the squad and I'm kinda unsure if it made the squad better. Withedern I brought in, feel he can really average close to a 100 this year with a much improved Lions lineup. Got rid of Greene and move Setterfield to forward and brought in Hatley which really freed up some cap space and with the extra cash I had went Libba up to Miles cause his younger, not as injury prone and can kill it in the GC midfield. Since I still had tons of cash I brought in some risk picks who might or might not be there in my team round 1 but have to have a look at them and that's Birchall and Smith. Even with all those upgrades I still have tons of caps space with 105k left, unsure what to upgrade, advice wanted.

Cap Space: $104,600

Not keen on Dunkley, reckon Libba pushes him to a more outside role.

Updated Team. Just did minor changes but made my mids a bit weaker and forward a bit stronger but unsure if I should stick to this structure. More advice wanted.

I forgot to insert the image correctly, sorry about that. Now you should be able to see my squad. Advice is wanted....
