Thought I'd better post my team before Team Picker disappears.

Def: Laird, Whitfield, Blakely, Rozee, Collins, Scrimshaw, (Hore, Wigg)

Mid: Cripps, Oliver, Neale, Martin, Merrett, Walsh, Setterfield, Bewley, (Stocker, Hind, West)

Ruck: Grundy, Kreuzer, (Bines)

Fwd: Dangerfield, Gray, Wingard, Billings, McAdam, Burgess, (Corbett, Cavarra)

Bank: $6,500

Gone with an almost purely Guns and Rookies strategy at this stage. Picking Kreuzer and Billings to be premiums.

A good crop of mature age picks this year means we may have a few more rookie priced players to choose from come Rnd 1.

Ringo

Nice team as usual.

Kreuzer a slight worry though with injury.

Bring on the JLT so we can see the rookies who may play.

Better luck for us all this year,

ubeaut

Looks good.
Pros: Solid midfield, deep fwd line, 14 premos, like Blakely, Dusty + Merrett

Cons: Billings, Kreuz injury risk, possibly weak at D4

Sabretooth Tigers

 ;)

Bloody good start Mr Legend. Love the Kreuzer pick, gone the same way. Good move too picking some high price rookies giving you plenty of flexibility and freedom of movement. It'll be interesting to see how Billings shapes up this year after he bled so many of us last year, not for me though. Best of luck mate.

:)

Money Shot

Probably one of the best teams I’ve seen to date.

Good job mate.

SilverLion

Good side, well balanced. I would stay away from Billings myself, but he could be a good PoD.

Ringo

Good team and structure Billings the only real concern but winner if he gets back to 2017 average.

Thanks guys.

Been having a play around and made a couple of changes.

Def: Laird, Blakely, Z.Williams, Collins, Scrimshaw, Wigg, (Hore, McLennan)

Mid: Cripps, Oliver, Neale, Yeo, Merrett, Walsh, Bewley, West (Stocker, Constable, Hind)

Ruck: Grundy, Goldstein, (Bines)

Fwd: Dangerfield, Heeney, Riewoldt, Wingard, Setterfield, Burgess, (Corbett, Cavarra)

Bank: $5,800

Wanted to get a 3/5/2/4 premo split, which meant downgrading Whitifeld to Williams. Defense is a bit weak, but 14 keepers is always my aim to start the year.

Ringo

Nice team to sit and watch JLT. I am a little concerned with Jack at F3 with the Lynch factor unknown. Reasobale alternate options available though if JLT shows something different.

Good Luck.

TommyC

Nice side.
Defence is a little light as you're aware.
Midfield has a few PODs and value players.
Goldstein is interesting, could pay off.
Forward line is nice, I like the Wingard pick.

Money Shot

Yeah I also like this side! I really like the Riewoldt pick. 14 keepers is a bloody good effort.
