Any love for Hannebery if he tons up this week?

Could be a nice M9 or M8, depending on how your team's looking. 27 touches from 69% game time is pretty decent in his first game back..

Gotta say he looked good in patches. Was butchering the ball though. If he does well again it'd be tempting..

AF for me, not worth the risk in SC imo

Yeah Hannebery seems a bit weak for M8.

M9 cover could work, but even then I'd prefer a DPP like Robbie Gray that can cover two lines.

Thoughts on M. Crouch as a sub 500K pick up? Take out his injury game he’s averaging 107...

I really hope M Crouch comes home strong, because he is the weak link in my midfield with J. Kelly, Neale, Cripps, Macrae, Fyfe, Sloane & Oliver holding down the other 7 spots.

I’m sitting here wishing I had the Bont instead right now, so I probably wouldn’t recommend anyone trading into M Crouch.

It's interesting though that most teams seem obsessed with getting the absolute best mids, but compromise forward and back on many occasions. If getting Crouch on the cheap allows you to get someone better in another position you may end up better off overall. I'm keeping B Crouch for the year as I see more value in having some better defenders across the line than spending an extra 100k for a potential sideways result at M8.

Time will tell if it's a wise move in the end, but until now, most teams I have come up against this season seem to have better mids than me, but I've mostly had them covered across the other lines.

I understand what you’re saying, but it’s the difference in average that hurts. Crouch averages 102 and has missed 3 games. It’s a season killer and a big reason why I’m sitting outside the top 1000 right now (Stocker was my cover :'( ). Bont averages 10 points more at 112 and has played every game.

It’s similar to the 10 point average gap between Johannisen & Stewart or Billings & Tim Kelly. Both superior options feel like significant upgrades for mine and owners of JJ or Billings probably wish they had one of the top 6 options instead.

Yeah, missed games is a killer, I agree. M Crouch at under 500k now is still a steal though (unless he misses again of course). I held Rocky until last week, which cost me over the byes, and Brouch and Coniglio have also given me a few headaches...

Jimmykidd

really tempted by MCrouch for M8. will leave me with 6 trades but only 10k in the bank.

is a 110 average for the rest of the year hoping too much? After the bye last year he avg 110. year before even better.

He is value no doubt, but given the option would you rather pass and use 1 more trade to get enough money for someone else? or take the risk.

Is Brayshaw to Sloane a wasted trade

Grabbed Sloane this week to finish my midfield and very content. 115 average without his injury game and 551k
