Preferred MID under $551.5k?
Kind of toying with the idea of Shiel or Henderson as a POD. OA rank is 341.

Sloane, Dusty, Zorko all better POD's imo

Good points. Also was looking at Zorko and forgot about him.

How about Sidebottom? Haven't really seen any talk about him. Has he had a role change hence the low scores?

Not getting any mid time.

I would go with Zorko as a pod
Zorko for me

Mat0369

I'm assuming Oliver is getting the de Boer tag?

Mat0369

Damn. Well I hope he can at least crack 60

Who do people think will be the Top 8 averaging midfielders?

I'm confident Fyfe, J. Kelly, Cripps, Neale & Macrae will be there, but who will make up the remaining 3 spots?

Will Bont continue to get big midfield minutes? Have Sloane & Merrett finally learnt how to shake a tag? Will Oliver come home strong
and finish in the Top 8 like he has the past couple of seasons? Is Cunnington finally a premium midfield option? Will Taranto keep up his hot start? Can Treloar & Pendles still get regular big scores in a stacked midfield?

I think it's great that we don't have 8 uber prems this year as it means all teams won't end up the same

I agree with the 5 you said and they would be the must haves I think, or even having 4 of the 5 should be fine

I can only speak for myself, but at the moment I have Macrae, Cripps, Oliver, Sloane, Crouch and in two weeks time I'm bringing in Fyfe and Bont, and then 2 weeks later Walsh to Neale finishes me off, so I won't have Kelly but I feel like I'll probably have 8 of the possibly 10 best or so, so I'm happy with that pending they stay on the park

Sloane will definitely finish top 10 imo.

Averaging 115 atm too.

I want to try and get him in after he gets De Boer'd.  ;)

Sloaney copped the Hutchings tag on the weekend, scored 140. Think he's finally curbing it.

Great thing is he has De Boer at AO. Averaging 126 there this year, 3/6 over 138, no score below 104 so I'll back him in.

For me I'll finish with

Fyfe, Macrae, Cripps, Neale, Sloane, Treloar/Bont, Rockliff, and then probably Matt Crouch at 470k.

Making the decision between Treloar and Bont this week.... Think my Pies bias will win over. Happy to miss J Kelly, absolutely will miss a week down the track ...

Also, Cogs at 477k anyone?

Nope....

Just thinking due to lack of cash gen $$ he could be a good cheap pick up.

Has a 102, 103, 104, 104, 154 so 5/8 tons with a 87, 75 and the bad 52. Clean his disposal up a little and he’s as good as gold.

I guess if he cleans up his disposal a bit and gets over that finger injury.

I reckon I might need a cheap mid or 2 to finish off my team but would rather bring back in M.Crouch at $470,000 odd if he can clean up his disposal too.

Getting Sloane this week.
Mids will be finished.
Neale, Cripps, Fyfe, Macrae, Sloane, Oliver, MCrouch, Steele.
Steele hasn’t played ball yet but just one big game from averaging 100. Ideally I will finish with Kelly in there later on but will need some luck to get it done.

My midfield is my worst line atm...

Macrae, Cripps, Sloane, Coniglio, Rocky, Brouch, Walsh and Tim Kelly visiting.

Looking at Fyfe, Neale and Bont/Merrett. Will probably end up stuck with Coniglio and Rocky. Cogs has been the worst disappointment so far and would love Kelly instead, but $200k upgrade is a big ask...

Yeah that is certainly a strong enough combination IMO.

I have Neale, Kelly, Cripps, Fyfe, Macrae, Oliver, Matt Crouch & Walsh currently, so I am a bit stuck on who I should get for Walsh. Bont & Sloane would have to be the frontrunners at this stage.
