Martin's 2017 was one out of the box, anyone who thinks he'll replicate or top that is kidding themselves. That being said, he should still be good for 100-110, more than good enough for M8.

Dusty is actually so overrated, the bloke has only averaged over 108 once. He isn’t top 8 midfielder material for mine.

Would pick him if available as a forward though.

He's a roller coaster and always been apart from 2017 but if your biggest problem is having your M8 averaging 105ish at the end of the year then you've done pretty well

Riewoldt looks to be miss up to 8 weeks. Should we be expecting Dusty to be sitting forward even more now?

Where did that come from? He hasn't even had a scan lol

Some random dude on Twitter. Apparently you can test the scaphoid without a scan

Did not see the whole game but from what I did see Greenwood didn't have the hard tag on him??

smashbox

Was saying it all preseason! Dusty just doesn’t look motivated since the premiership year!

Makes him even worse and he scored a 110? Now you're really clutching at straws.

I understand your points RD and they make sense. But the thing with Dusty is, he is 99% a shoe in for 22 games. Tick, one less worry. Has a great ceiling, tick. Has a relatively good floor, usually scores are 80 and above, tick. Plays for a top 4 side, tick. Kicks goals and comes clutch in the big moments, big tick. I made it very obvious why I liked him as a selection.

I raise you this question, you're willing to burn a trade to Cogs who has never averaged over 108 and has missed 43 games in 7 years prior to this year. Why is he such a good pick? He's inconsistent, take a look at his scores from last year. Neale is an obvious good pick, I agree. A lot of guys though have queries in some way or another.

At the end of the day, Dusty should finish this year with a 107-112 average in my opinion, may not be good enough for top 10 AVERAGE I agree. But in terms of total points he will be in the top 10 on that average alone.

Don't think Richmond will be top 4 this year, reckon they drift out to 6-10. Rance is such a huge loss, Nank doesn't have support, Houli looks like he'll miss some football. Richmond have been so fortunate with injuries up till now, all the signs are pointing to a tough year where that's concerned.

If I had Dusty I would trade him but I would at least look at turning him into a cash cow.

Plain Xray could pick it up but he'll get a CT / MRI regardless.

It was a hard tag. Greenwood was with him almost the entire night, except for some patches when he went forward.
