Thoughts on Pendles? BE of 54 and has a good record. Probably the cheapest he’ll be all year and ultra consistent. Gets Carlton next too, career average of 123.

Thinking about putting him in as could be a great POD

Thinking about Pendles and Sloane, both cheap, good history, decent PODs

yeah pendles is definite option.  took a long look at sloane data and for he does not meet prem standards.  only 1 season at 114,  rest are 105-110.   so at current price you will be buy points just under mkt price.   better options to assess elsewhere.  jpk, pendles, macrea wait and see if merrett drops in price.

Definitely considering.. His back to back 70s from a few weeks ago are a little concerning, but he's looked like old school Pendles the last two games.

cogs or shiel?

neither
This

Shiel is a butcher, and Cogs plays one good quarter before dropping away. As an owner, apart from round 1, he's killing me...!

I really feel like taking a risk on Shiel, most likely as a biased bomber man. Just feel like he has a big ceiling and we should try and use him more and his DE% surely can't get any worse or continue to remain this poor.

Highest score of 123 in the past year of footy. Not sure I would call that a high ceiling

Neale vs Fyfe in this week?

Having started with and been closely watching Bont, he butchers it as much as Oliver, Coniglio does, and still scores well. Last week was probably the first game where I saw him hit targets (and he scored his shots on goal!). I'm actually annoyed that he's not averaging more to be honest.

That's why I'm bringing him in, he's been great so far but I don't think he has hit his potential yet.

Could be wrong but he'll be one of the best scorers by the end of the season.

I'd like to see his metres gained and contested posession stats this season compared to both of those guys. Conigs appears to be playing alot more outside and Oliver is just... who knows. Not using it well, not getting enough of it and definitely down on contested ball
