At this stage running with
Macrae, Cripps, Fyfe, Kelly, Dusty.

Was all over Oliver like a rash but done some deeper research and don't like what I see, plus shoulder surgery is a negative.

Others I'm considering are Neale and Crouch.

Must have a weak line somewhere if you're running with that midfield

I really really want to start Fyfe, but flower I just can't trust him to play 20 games

I'm the same, but think he'll have more incentive to smash it early with Hogan in the side.
with hogan and lobbe fyfe will probably not go forward as much.   i believe strong chance of reversion to 120+ if he stays uninjured.  locked as starter and C option.    Cripps is my other C option.

Fyfe is without a doubt my fav player in the comp. The brownlow is his to lose this year.  If you dont start Danger, Grundy, Cripps and Fyfe theres almost no point submitting a side for 2019 fellas

Not when he only plays 16 games because he's injured once again. Frustrates me to tears every year

Ringo

Currently running with Macrae, Cripps, Neale and Dusty - Have Libba as M5 but that could change.

Goodluck without the best player in the comp then chief ;) he played 21 games the season before last and heading into his prime age of 27 with no injury atm. And low 600's. You simply cant not start him.

Yes but let's be honest, that's not the norm. 5, 18, 18, 21, 15 is his last 5 years and he's never played a full season. As good as he his I rather just take a guy like Neal who will probably average 5 ppg less but has played 21, 22, 22, 21, 22 the last 5 years and I won't be wasting a trade on somewhere down the line like I do with Fyfe every year

I enjoy watching Bont play and believe he is a superprem quality player.   Cannot see him getting to 120 until an increase in onball time is provided.    What is the likelihood he gets more mid time this year?

That depends on the Dog's key fwds either stepping up or continuing to be useless. They have a deep midfield with Libba, Macrae, Hunter, Wallis, Dunkley, McLean and  new draftee Bailey Smith.

What are people's thoughts on Zorko? Is he any chance to going back to 110 status?

Averaged 107.1 after round 7 last year (when he stopped getting tagged into utter oblivion every week).

Has a history of being shower occasionally (at least one score in the 50s in each of his premium years) and still managing to get 110 average.

Has an enormous ceiling (top score of 196) and  has traded out one Dayne Beams for a Lachie Neale in the Brisbane midfield.

Priced for 95, at 520k surely worth considering?

107 from Round 7 is very good - I wasn't aware of that. He has the history too so I think he's a legit option, but I'd probably feel better spending just a little more on Zerrett/Crouch, and just wait and see with Zorko

Funnily enough I currently have him and Sloane sitting in my team at M4 and M5. They're both coming off down years, had similar scoring patterns the last three seasons and are susceptible to the tag. I think at their prices they're both tempting if they have really good pre-seasons. Their ceilings are unbelievable, they aren't older guys that are past their prime yet and you would expect them to bounce back at some point.

I started both of these guys along with Josh Kelly (and I him as well) last year and they all burnt me. It's really important to nail your premium mids more than any other position.

Southstorm

Mids used to be easy. Any of Ablett, Swan, Pendlebury or Jelwood used to be consistent 120+ players and then there were like a dozen players you could bank on to go 110+. I don't even know half of these kids anymore.

And that's how I knew I was a grumpy old barbie.

He’ll be worth considering after he goes back to back with terrible scores, like last year. Save yourself 150k.

Fyfe is the dilemma for me. An absolute gun but injury is a concern.  Think I’ll punt on him rather than Oliver.

Anyone think Beams has the potential to get back to 110+ with his return to the pies. Lining up with the likes of Treloar, Pendles, Sidarse, Grundy, Adams and even Phillips?

I couldn’t pick him amongst that lot

Durability another concern, one to consider if he's coming off an injury game.
