I didn't watch the game, and have only glanced at the headline stats... but can anyone explain how Oliver scored more SC points than Brayshaw?

Brayshaw: 111 SC
Oliver: 127 SC

Brayshaw: 37 D (28 K; 9 H) / 11 M / 2 FF / 1 FA / 4 T
Oliver: 32 D (9 K; 23 H) / 6 M / 2 FF / 1 FA / 6 T / 1 G

Is it contested possessions & disposal efficiency that elevates Oliver above Brayshaw in SC scoring?

Those stats just tell you the AF/DT story

Brayshaw 67% 7 clangers
Oliver 87% 3 clangers

Those stats probably contribute to the difference in SC scores, plus the 50 million other measures CD use haha

I thought yep alright will see if he spends more time forward, will watch Libba come back, see what they do with dunkley and bont etc as they have a feast of good big bodied mids. Literally all night was Macrae and two others in the guts. Have to select him

Pretty much exactly this.

Bont has to play forwArd cos they have no one else to score goals. And Macrae is that far better than any of the other dogs mids he just has to spend bulk time in mid otherwise they going to be blown off the park every week.

Yep, I thought Bont Wallis and Hunter spent time in the Fwds. Could'nt work out Dunkleys role tbh, but meh.

Yep, I’m on the Macrae bandwagon too after tonight. Needed to do some shuffling to get him in there but he’s close to locked now.

Thought earlier in the pre-season that he was overpriced but seems like under 700k is actually a bargain.

Genuine captain option each round too.

Several coaches here that have strong history and know their shower, it's very surprising to see how much you guys are reacting off 1 JLT game

Macrae got 40 against the worst midfield in the comp

I dunno, 690k is so much, and when I look at putting him in my side he really throws the rest of my side out of whack, and overall I lose a starting prem

Surely there are guys who are 130-170k cheaper than him and that can get close enough.

I guess you only pick Macrae if you think he can go 115+ minimum. I'm not sure he will. Certainly won't be surprised if he does, but it's a lot of cash, and reacting against a JLT vs shower GC is probably jumping the gun

Dusty to B Crouch seems like good value to me.    atm  Cripps, Oliver, Fyfe, Dusty, Zerrett, Libba.   Can easily go Dusty to Crouch and Zerret to Macrae.    Historically I have not take one of the top 2 every year.  Normally willing to risk and hoping to get them at bye time at a lower price.   Been burnt by Gaz and Pendlebury doing this.    Will sit on it for another week or so.
