As a non-Grundy owner, how many weeks would Gawn need to miss for me to just straight swap Gawn to Grundy?

I have no DPP R/F cover. Even if it’s 1 week I might just do it. Is this insane?

How many trades left, and is your team full otherwise ?

At least you guys don't have the dream bench combo of... Bines/Young/Gardner. If Gawn misses, I'll have to trade Duursma to Westhoff, meaning Logue might be at D6 for a long time. And that depends on Whitfield playing and no other defenders getting injured. Could be ugly.
exactly the same lh and duursma at d5 and naish d7.    have brayshaw at m7 but leaves me short to upgrade duursma to weller if i use brayshaw trade to lycett.   could do weller roughhead which will get me 80pts avg as cover.    probably best overall option.   3 trades left after that and still need to get a d6

RoughRed

Thinking to complete my forwards but if Gawn is out perhaps lycett in use ddp with Bines for this week to cover
But how will Lycett vs ROB plan out?
The young gun may have lycetts measure and the Adelaide miss are IMO a better line
Thoughts on ROB vs Lycett anyone

js19

Lycett is good for a 100 every week without Ryder and Hoff IMO. When they return, who knows... I’m seriously considering Brouch to Murphy to fund Baker to Lycett. Would leave Murphy as cover in Mids, moving a DPP premo in there on field. Would be stuck with Hore/Logue for D6/7 though.

If Gawn misses, Lycett could be invaluable...

6 trades left I’ve got 1 defender left to get, but thinking Logue can hold the fort whilst Lloyd and Whitfield tank their value. 240k in the bank.

The dude at number 1 has been rolling with Grundy, ROB all year. Finally traded in Gawn and he gets injured...

BUT

He found the 700k elsewhere and KEPT a certain ROB sitting at R3. If that doesn’t mean he’s dodging all the bullets and is destined to take it out, I don’t know what else to make of it!

Considering he already had Lycett it’s even more amazing that he’s chosen to hold ROB while grabbing Gawn.

Does this guy have a decent bench? That's a pretty amazing effort, selling ROB has been about the only thing that has kept me in the game.

His team is very, very solid, and cash to spare. If he has more than 5 trades left I reckon he’ll be tough to beat.

Hurn, Lloyd, Sic, Laird, Handrews, Logue (Answerth, Gardner)

Fyfe, Neale, Sloane, Cripps, Coniglio, Merrett, M Crouch, Duncan (Clarke, Bewley, Owies)

Grundy, Gawn (ROB)

Dunkley, Lycett, Telly, Danger, Boak, Ziebell (Heeney, Bines)

Very strong team, defence the only area that may cause issues, although it won't be hard to trade ROB when the time is right.

Yeah, that’d be my move. His depth is looking great. Injury free after trades to finalise I reckon I’d get close but that never happens...

same here bully,  i am about 4-500k short on cash generation compared to those around me.    stack,  baker, rozee, are three i can think of.  also dumb rookie trade of the year was bailey smith 14 games 73.7 avg correction trade in rd 3, should have been bailey scott.

Jimmykidd

Tbh Lycett is a flat track bully IMO. If you've had him than congrats but RoB won't be an easy opponent. He's monster scores are what's got his avg at 100. Not a must have at all especially at this price. And hoff is back..
