I've gone Grundy and Goldy atm, but I'm keeping a close eye on Witts for Goldy

SilverLion

Grundy and Stef for me.

Will only go up to Gawn pending funds/Preuss, or down to Kreuzer if I was to change I think.

At this stage I’m a Grundy and Gawn operator, unless Ryder gets injured or port don’t play Lycett in which case the hoff will be a lock at R2

Ringo

Watching Witts in the JLT and seeing how he goes with Miles and co in the midfield. Could be an option at a cheaper price.

That's exactly what I'm thinking.

Witts is 26 and is the right age to tear it apart this year, whilst Miles is dirt cheap for what he can produce

Someone I have considered is Sean Darcy. He was one I liked a couple years back but with injuries and Sandi last year still being the number one he didn't really improve. If the Dockers line up with him and Lobb as the two options I don't mind it. He has a similar build to a young Mummy and I think it was his third season that Mummy broke out.

Will be an option in 2020 once Sandi has retired

Sandi is still their first choice ruck

I'm pretty sure Sandi is just a break glass in case of emergency option this year. He is going to be a playing coach and with the depth in talls I don't know if he plays all that much. i'll be curious to check out the JLT

Hawka

NFI what to do with rucks
Grundy locked
Wanna see how Gawn goes first
Mummy may struggle
and it looks like Fort and maybe Zac Clarke are the only options to play for Mummy at the start of the season
Looked at Witts, Krooz even Bigboy vut if you pick one of them your stuck
Sean Darcy is intresting but Sandi still in the way flower
who knew 3 spots outta 30 would do my head in so much

I've said this before but Witts already gets massive hit out numbers. The problem is the midfield around him in terms of getting HOTAs.
Last year he got 60 hit outs and scored 81. And that was against Carlton.
In another game 64 with 16 touches and only just tonnned up.
He averaged 39 hit outs, the same as Grundy and more than Goldy and Stef.

60 HO's for 81SC LOL that's just horrible. Poor bloke, getting first hands to it so often but having shower players around him

English an option till the #2 ruck is confirmed if you don't think it's going to be Gawn?

Southstorm

I think you have to start Grundy no matter what and Gawn if Preuss doesn't look like being a permanent fixture in the Demons. No other ruck will get close to 130ppg this year.

This, but you can still upgrade to Gawn at some stage.  Say if you go in R2 as Gawn and B. Crouch vs Kreuz and Macrae...whats to say that Macrae won't start better than Gawn, or that Crouch is just as likely to get injured as Kreuz.  Same situation, just different choices.
