Thanks Money Shot.. Moved McGrath in for Lever for now.

Ricochet

Yeh definitely get rid of Lever mate.
unless you're banking on McGrath breaking out this year, I'd look at either a safer premo or go down to a rookie and use the $$ elsewhere.

maybe McGrath to a rookie like Schrimshaw/Logue and upgrade Krooz?

Or find a few extra dollars to go McGrath to ZWilliams.
Bennell to a Valente/West/etc will do it

SilverLion

Not sold on McGrath/Lever, as others have said, better off going down to a rookie or up to a proven prem (ZWilliams?).

Aside from that, rest of the side looks good. Though I personally could never pick Billings, he absolutely killed me this year.

Thanks for advice gents..After a few tweaks,team3

Def:Laird, Whitfield, JJ, Z Williams, Birchall, Wilkie. Subs: Hore, Wigg.

Mids:Mitchell, Fyfe, Kelly, Dusty, Libber, Hately, Setterfield, Stoker. Subs. Constable, Collier-Dawkins, West

Rucks: Grundy, Kreuzer. Sub. Bines

Forwards: Danger, D Smith, Ziebel or Lynch? T Greene, Daniher, McFadyen. Subs. Cavarra, Okunbor.

Will sit for at least the next hour or so :D
Thoughts please.

Money Shot

Ziebell seems destined to score an average of 85 which will be enough to keep but not enough to be worth starting if that makes sense! Lynch more likely to average 90+ so go with him I reckon

Apart from that I like the team!

Ashmore62

It pains me as a Tiger supporter, Dusty gone for now :-[

I'm sure he'll be back in latter teams.

Def: Laird, Sicily, Andrews, Williams, Scrimshaw, Wilkie. Bench: Hore, Wigg

Mids: Mitchell, Fyfe, Kelly, Neale, Libber, Benell, , Setterfield, Constable . Bench: Stoker, West , Collier-Dawkins

Rucks: Grundy, Kreuzer, Bench: Bines ??

Forwards: Danger, Westoff, Heeney, Greene, McAdam, Corbett. Bench: Cavarra, Okunbor.

Recon this side stacks up till pre season.

Thoughts please.

Ringo

Not sure of your cash situation but with the new rules regarding kick ins prefer Witherden to Andrews myself. With Rich spending more time up the field this year Withers will take majority of kick ins.
Westhoff as  Ruck back up is a personal choice and accusing division amongst coaches as to whether worth the cost.
Apart from that nice team to sit and good luck for the season.

Recon Westoff is a lock in.

Like your tweak, will need to look similarly with mine.

Ringo

Like the retweak.  Still a little undecided on the Kreuzer with the Hoff though. Just a little concerned with Lycett coming in and possibly playing does this mean less time for him in ruck.  His high scores were when a fair amount of ruck work was involved,

Cheers Ringo..Have slotted Heeney back in for the Hoff.

R2 has been a problem for me of late, so if a rookie has a pre-season where you must look at him, and let's face it old mate Kreuzer has struggled to make 12- 15 games per year. If Fort starts for the Cats which is very likely, my team looks like this now.

Def: Lloyd, Laird, Sicily, Williams, Scrimshaw,Duursma. Bench: Wilkie, Wigg

Mids: Mitchell, Cripps, Fyfe ,Martin, Miles, Libber, ,Bennell, Stocker . Bench: Constable, West , Collier-Dawkins

Rucks: Grundy, Fort, Bench: Bines ??

Forwards: Danger, D Smith, Wingard, Greene, B King, McAdam. Bench: Cavarra, Okunbor.

I agree that at this early stage that Fort is the best ruck rookie available, but given Geelongs ruck history and depth unless Fort performs above and beyond I don't hold much prospect of security.
