DEF: Whitfield, Williams, Witherden, Roberton, Collins, Scrimshaw (Hore, Duursma)
MID: Cripps, Oliver, Martin, Neale, Steele, B.Crouch, Bennell, Setterfield (Hind, Bewley, Velente)
RUC: Grundy, S Martin (Bines)
FWD: Dangerfield, Smith, Wingard, McAdam, Parker, Mosquito (Cavarra, Wilkinson)

Adjusted a few things in light of Titch going down.
There's a few risks in the line up that will be on watch.
Brad Crouch could be a top10mid for 418k so risk v reward.... may only play 12-16 games too. Libba is on my radar too (118k cheaper).
Bennell is in if named R1... 167k...easy fix to mid rookie if not.
Roberton at 297k could be a D6 keeper or a luxury trade to fallen premo at some point ... picks himself if he's given the all clear.
Wingard is in for the time being. With Titch out he could be given a mid role quite easily now. I'll be watching the pre season games with interest.... otherwise I'll tinker again and get Heeney back in.

Hoggyz_a_legend

Love the Jack Steele pick. He's certainly in my thoughts. Only thing is can he continue the form from the last 6 rnds of 2018 into 2019...?

Steele will likely be my POD Hoggy.

Just made a few changes to strengthen the fwds a bit. Looks stronger now with Greene at F4, Libba M6 and Roberton at D4.
Libba, Kreuzer and Greene all questionable injury worries. Roberton on the comeback trail too. The other thing I noticed was Danger, Smith and Wingard all had the same bye alongside Oliver, Neale, Grundy, Witherden, Stef so a questionable Wingard to a more proven and safer Heeney with a better bye looks way better.

In:  Libba, Kreuzer, Greene
Out:B.Crouch, S.Martin, (fwd rookie)

DEF: Whitfield, Williams, Witherden, Roberton, Collins, Scrimshaw (Hore, Duursma)
MID: Cripps, Oliver, Martin, Neale, Steele, Libba, Bennell, Setterfield (Hind, Bewley, Velente)
RUC: Grundy, Kreuzer (Bines)
FWD: Dangerfield, Smith, Heeney, Greene, McAdam, Parker (Cavarra, Wilkinson)

Great team. One of the best I've seen. 15 possible keepers. Having a decent F4+D4 plus Libba at M6 is what I'm aiming for as well. Only draw back is needing a cheap R2 to allow this.
I think there is more upside in Wingard than Smith. Dev relied on tackles to score well and it'll be hard to back those insane numbers up.

Cheers. There's risk with it but it bats deep.

This team runs really deep on all lines and you still have a couple of those ultra premiums as well.

If you can start a team with a solid D4/F4/M6 you will have done very well.

SilverLion

Good side NZ, with Titch out it seems you've used the extra funds well to get a good balance across all lines.

Hope Steele works out for ya ;)

Tinkered a bit more. Shuffled some rookies and will continue to adjust them to suit.
In: Blakely, Brayshaw, Miles, Dunkley, Wingard
Out: Roberton, Oliver, Libba, Smith, Heeney

DEF: Whitfield, Blakely, Williams, Witherden, Collins, Scrimshaw (Hore, Wigg)
MID: Cripps, Neale, Martin, Brayshaw, Steele, Miles, Setterfield, Duursma (Bytel, Bewley, Velente)
RUC: Grundy, Kreuzer (Bines)
FWD: Dangerfield, Dunkley, Wingard, Greene, McAdam, Parker (Cavarra, Mosquito)

No Lloyd or Laird as simply can't afford them but think the four premos I've picked are extremely wellpriced and will all do well. Brought Blakely in as with Neale gone can see him stepping into the midfield as a regular. His numbers from R6 in 2017 are what I'm after. Could be beautiful. Whitfield, Witherden and Williams haven't left from thinking from the outset.

Gone for some value picks in the mids too. No Fyfe as injury and games missed worry me. Took Oliver out in light of post season surgery (dual shoulder reconstruction). I see Macrae as too expensive. All this led me to Brayshaw. Third in the brownlow and what a finish to the year he had. He is primed for elite status. I'm hopeful that he will do very well. Steele is my POD...I've already posted my thoughts earlier on him. Brought Miles in for Libba. Miles is touted to be in the engine room for GC immediately. They need him and he is no stranger to big scores and leather poisoning. Priced in the 60s and will score 90+ ... Libba should do well too but I'm more confident of Miles in that his role is more clearly defined and I'd be more worried about Libba getting injured than Miles.

Grundy has to be picked. Kreuzer helps me afford others. So long as Kreuzer plays, say R1-10 or thereabout I think this strategy could pay off.

I would dearly love to have Heeney and Smith at F2&3 but Dunkley and Wingard may prove to be the equal or better of them at a cheaper price. Dunkley's form at the end of 2018 was extraordinary. If Wingard plays midfield he'll be one of the top forwards.

There's a lot of value in this team. Potentially 15 keepers. There has to be some risk in that but I like it.

Love the Miles and Wingard picks. Brayshaw certainly one to consider for my side and you have good reasoning for picking him.
Very nice side and great reasoning NZ.

If all of your pods work out you’ll be off to a flyer mate. Structurely sound so cant fault it.

LOVE IT... i have 12 of the keepers you've picked... I agree with the Miles comment. I too think Brayshaw will get even better

fasttrack13

Real nice team, only real concern for me is Brayshaw due to the scores he threw up in finals. Bit of a flat track bully based off that, perhaps assess the dee’s draw difficulty. Either way if you cool off him you’re spoilt for choice at that 520-60 mark! Do rate the Martin and Steele picks too!

Nice team, just wondering what are your reasons behind picking Daniel this year?

Laird???

Nice side aside from that, lot of juicy PoDs. Not sure on all of them myself, but can see why you'd pick them.
