With the Birchall injury have restructured my team again.

Still undecided whether to start Martin or Kreuzer as R2.  Will probably decide closer to Rd 1 when playing Rookies become more obvious and use 140k elsewhere.

Went for Roberton at D4 and hoping he can get back to 2017 form and make some cash.  Leaves Roberton, Libba and Greene as mid price rookies and hoping maybe develop to keepers.

Made some other changes as well Dunkley to Gray and Williams to Witherden who I think will benefit with new rules and Rich moving up the field.  (Lions bias maybe but a calculated move)

Team to sit for a while:

Bye Structure
Rd 12 9
Rd 13 9
Rd 14 12
Cash 20k.

And there is Witherden. Well done mate. I knew it wouldn't take long. :)

With going Roberton had to downgrade so Witherden was in.

Looking good Ringo

Could even drop Bennell and Hately to cheaper rookies, then turn Roberton into Williams

Either way, like most of us, no point doing much more for now - time to just sit and wait

Ricochet

Yeh much better looking side there Ringo.

Agree with RD on looking to bring in Williams for Roberton, but other than that it's solid

Also just posting a team post Mitchell here in case Picker disappears:

On watch list Zac Williams, Corey Ellis, Brad Crouch, Newman and do not laugh Charlie Cameron. (Has looked good in training so far).

EDIT
Slight edit that still some concern with Oliver so replaced with Macrae at this stage.  Bircchall added to my watch list if fit as he will be hard to ignore  Did not realise only $202k.  Another two watching in JLT are Jamie Elliott and Brodie Smith. Also keeping an eye on Josh Bruce as well priced at 50 and should have nice price rises as his average is above 50 over his career.

Looking good Ringo.. What are thoughts on Greene, will he be ready. Hearing he'll miss JLT. And Bennell?? Hope he behaves himself.
:)

Both Bennell and Greene are in team based on what they can do but if not named have other options as boith at their price and if they can get onto field are strong values and price generation.
Greene the doubt at the moment but options a plenty watch on both Lynchs for example.

Assuming Greene and Bennell are both fit and firing for round one this is a really good side.

Doubt either of the above two will be playing round one though ;)

Ringo

With the opening of supercoach here in initial team.
Have 48k for adjustments:

Players being kept an eye on in JLT apart from Rookies Birchill, Miles, Cameron, Goldstein, Hall and Elliott. Also how Gawn and Preuss react together as if cash needed may drop Grundy and go with Gawn and Stef or even Stef and Goldy.
Bye Structure 10/8/12.

Pretty good team. I have no midpricers at this stage but if I was to have one from each line it would be Roberton, Libba and Greene. Good spread of players on each line.

Pretty good starting side mate. Well done.

Nice side Ringo, identical structure to mine currently - and with the same 3 mid pricers as well.

WitherGOAT should be a great pick with the new kick-in rules this year.

Keeper27

good structure, my only concern is that most people are starting 5 Prem MIDS and some even have libba @ M6, i know you compensated for that by having a set & forget ruck setup and some very high scoring captain choices

check out my team

OK Famous last words but this looks like my sitting team now till JLT after a bit more research:

Quite few changes.
Def:
Simpson too hard to ignore but with my luck though will probably jinx Simpson who has only missed 6 games and not scored below 93 in 10 years. He replaces Whitfield.
If Birchall named Rd 1 he will come in as priced at $205k and will rise substantially if he averages 85+ for the first 3 games.
Maintaining Roberton has he is likely to benefit from kick in rules along with Witherden.
Mids:
Have dropped Macrae who will become an upgrade target. Think he may drop in price with Libba returning and revert ro 2017 averages. Dunkley and MacLean with more mid time may also effect.
Brought in Zorko maybe Lions bias but we know what he can do and Neale may attract first tag. Has also been working on beating tag so hopefully that translates to match day.
Brought in Miles over Libba now basically as I see him being the in and under at Suns which is SC gold. Especially with Witts HO to advantage.
Fwds:
Changes allowed Wingard to come in at F4 which makes team a lot stronger.

Options that may be considered based on JLT
Martin to Hickey or Kreuzer
Miles to Libba
Gray to Dunkley
Upgrade mid or def prem to super premiums,
Rookies place holders

Love the side mate. Witherden, Zorko, Neale and Martin are all good picks. Bit weaker in the mids but you definitely make up for it on your other lines.
