Lobb in for surgery. Guelfi also done for the season apparently.

Sloane saw a specialist on Monday who uncovered no significant damage to his right-eye after copping some friendly fire from Matt Crouch, meaning he’s a chance to line up against the Pies this weekend.

“We received positive news from the specialist yesterday (Monday),” Crows General Manager of High Performance Matt Hass told Adelaide’s website.

“His only restriction is that he’ll be non-contact (at training) this week but we’re confident he’ll be available for Collingwood.”

Trades left?

If you can afford a straight swap, wait for final teams of the Adelaide vs. Collingwood team and sideways him to Treloar if he's out.

If you can't afford the swap but have multiple trades, downgrade Hately or Clarke to upgrade Sloane to Treloar.

If you can only or only want to use one trade, there are a few in that price range that look like good POD options: Dusty, Taranto, Sidebottom (sneaky 107 avg in last 5).

Really depends on your trades and cash.

True. Sloane 85 - 135 vs. Clarke 45 - 85 + Hately will most likely be an omission this week anyway.

Got 3 trades and feel like Sloane and Smith are my weak links.  Would rather not waste 1 trade on a downgrade, rather use 2 this week then have 1 for next week for a sideways if needed.  Looking at Sloane and Smith to either Parker and Houli or Treloar and Savage.  To be honest I'd rather play it safe and trade out Sloane whether he's named or not.

For the lover of all that is holy, do not get Parker. Only two tons in the last 7 weeks with a high of 106. He's cooked. Treloar and Savage looks ok but I'd rather keep Smith and just use the one trade if I could afford it. Smith has been good recently and should come home strong. Collingwood have been friendly to half backs so this week would be good too. But Savage is your best option to free up cash for sure.

If I just trade Sloane the best I can get is: Merrett, Duncan, Pendles (opponent has him), Taranto, Shuey (opponent has him), Brouch, Walters, Sidebottom, Ross and anyone under all these guys.  Merrett might be the way to go...

Only the Cats and their late restings which Duncan has succumbed to in the past.   :-\

Won't that depend entirely on who you're playing, not where you finish? If you finish first or second, you'll play the Tigers at the MCG, the Lions at Kardinia, or the Eagles at who-knows-where.

Absolutely it does, I was being facetious. We need to finish top two and then line up against one of the interstate sides to play down at the cattery.
