Just read the full AFL injury lists post JLT and Grundy is listed as out 5-7 weeks (knee).
I haven't heard anything about it.
To be fair though, it's Riley Grundy from Port.

just a calf, as long as the knee is ok i reckon we will see him back this year. Only just turned 31 years old.

Is this sarcasm too? "Only a calf" for a bloke who has just turned 31 and hasn't played footy for nearly 2 years

its not sarcasm at all, they are clearly not giving up on him and the knee is the problem.

If he did another knee then i would say he is gone.

A soft tissue calf injury is expected given how long he has been out of the game because of the knee.

As long as he doesn't re-injure his knee, injuries like the calf are small set backs as opposed to ending his career for good. You dont rehab a knee for 2 years then hang it up because of a calf complaint.
