I got three, Fritsch, Doedee and Higgins. Thoughts ? All three should be in their teams best 22's

Nope, nope and nope.

Highly doubtful that any of them will average enough to be keepers.

If I had to pick one it would be Doedee.

Pretty sure frenzy was joking - they were basically the 3 best starting rookies from last year

Well at least I hope he's joking  :-X

Yep, just searchin for options, currently needing 8 rookies on the park, so living in hope atm. This thread should be renamed the 'Mid Price Fallen Premo' thou, imo. Because, some people use mid pricers for different reasons, ie. lack of rookies, stepping stones, etc etc.

Libba been training in the white top the last couple of weeks while the best 22 side has been wearing black.

Bailey Williams trained all preseason as a midfielder.

Libbas complete inability to play anywhere but inside midfield is gon hurt him!

Hadn't really given much thought to Daniher - 86 ave @ $280k

The appeal is that he has big games in him and could be a good stepping stone if he goes through a patch of form at the right time.

Nic Newman on paper is a terrible mid pricer - average 83 and 73 @ 400k.  At that price you HAVE to be getting a top 6 defender.  Buuuuuuuut there's just something about him and his seagulling ability.  Feel like the spirit of Doch will be in him and he'll have the opportunity to score like Simmo.

Yep, can't see the Blues getting out the cellar. The ball will be stuck at Newmans end of the ground, he should see plenty of it.

Agree he is just so damn cheap but I also worry about his preseason. Its been far from a full one and whilst he might be ready for round 1 I wouldn't be surprised if he's a little underdone

I think the Essendon press club + the media are underselling how far off JD is from a round 1 debut. Only played half of the intraclub and trained by himself yesterday, not promising signs in the least. Do not touch IMO.

Holz

currently got brad crouch in the squad.

in 2017 he played 20 out of 21 games in a row (inc finals) once he was up and running.

He had a limited preseason, so much so that his first game was round 5. He then pumped out a 87 average over his first 9 games.

Then when he was up and running he pumped out a 108 average over the last 11 games. 148 138 121 120 does have a nice ceiling.

priced at an average of 77, if he can just replicate his 2017 then he will be decent enough pumping out a 85ish and then once up and runing he could be a legitimate M8 based on those numbers.

having probably his best ever preseason with only a small week niggle during the preseason. Looking to play both JLT games aswell.

Find this funny. 2 preseasons ago you gave me a serve about this bloke.

Brad crouch is a gun!!!!

Rolling with both crouch’s??

I have strongly considered dropping Matt for brad and going def rookie to mid pricer

RaisyDaisy

I've never doubted Brad Crouch's ability but I just cannot trust him to play 20+ games, and at 418k that's a lot of coin to risk

25 years old and games played

2013: 14
2014: 11
2015: 0
2016: 14
2017: 17
2018: 0

That's about as bad as it gets
