Collins and Logue are my D5 and D6. Everyone seems to have forgotten about Logue considering he missed all of last year.

3rd year in the AFL system and pinned to play 3rd tall behind Pearce and Hamling. Former top 10 pick as well.

I've got the same two at D5/D6. Not sure on Collins scoring really at his price. At least Logue is pegged for that intercept role and is cheaper. I'd be happy with a 65 from both and not the Nathan Brown rolling donut.

Keeper27

Currently have the same D5/D6.
Not convinced of Collins and feel that Rozee would score more... so I've been swapping both in and out

Collins has the best JS though of any defender rookie though which I love. Don't know what his scoring will be like but he did average 72.5 from 12 games in his first season at Freo

I've got Rozee in the forward line. Guys tend to pop up through the pre-season games so I'm not to stressed. Worst case I will grab Zorko in the middle and use the cash for Brodie Smith

Don't like spending much on def rookies but the reality is we just need to due to extremely limited options

I'm thinking I might spread Moore, Rozee and Burgess across my def and fwd. Having 3 guys being able to rotate with that DPP will be extremely useful

Like that idea RD. It gives flexibility where the rookie involvement will probably be at it's thinnest. Most of last years draftees were mids and are listed as mids accordingly in SC. Am currently creating a team based heavily on filling most of the forward and back lines, set and forget ruck, and very light on in the guts.  Never has there been a JLT that may show as much as the upcoming one. Would not be surprised at all if we were forced to play a mid price or two on most lines. But that's the beauty of this time of year, the balance between uncertainty and possibility.

Is anyone considering Aaron Hall at all?

I'm not saying he will become a keeper, but there is a chance that he comes out firing and scores well, and could go from 389k to 500k+ very quickly, and then as soon as he looks to have stopped he's traded to a premo

Anyone considering it? I think those playing for overall should probably at least consider it

Honestly reckon you'd be better paying the extra for Zerrett, anything above 350k is really awkwardly priced.

So many mid pricers this year that I think have had good pre seasons and opportunity is staring them in the face, I have a list of probably 50 that I know some of them are gonna bring it and Im going to kick myself......I had Grundy in my team as PoD until about 2 hrs before lockout last year

I look at what Clayton Oliver did in his 2nd year and start to think about Worps and Rayner

I think Essendon, Lions & St Kilda look to have some breakout contenders and even GWS with the likes of Perryman or Himmelberg

At the moment Ive built a team around Cripps and Dangerpants for captains loophole with no other player over 550K

I have other criteria for selection as well but I figure if my midpricers can at least hold value without going bang it makes for easy trading of downgrades and upgrades early on.

Of course if I jag a few then happy days

Mid pricers Ive picked are also in the starting 22, at the moment I can field a team with only 1 player under 200K starting on field which also reduces the headache of picking a starting rookie that gets dropped after the 1st 4 games and hasn't earnt much coin leaving me in no mans land

bowy is GHS in your team

The ‘Hyphen’
Was starved of opportunity at previous club. I think if he is best 22 he could easily avg around the 80 mark.

Yep lock him in as a starting rookie imo

I started GHS 2 years ago as a POD.  Maybe bolted just a bit early on him ;D

Really like his scoring potential.  Hopefully playing inside?

I got three, Fritsch, Doedee and Higgins. Thoughts ? All three should be in their teams best 22's
