I haven't even considered tex because I only get mid pricers if I believe they can become a keeper. At the moment I have JJK at f4 who I haven't seen in a single side yet. Any reason he won't return to his best?

I have the same philosophy on mid pricers too, which is why I said I will probably look at Brodie Smith or Roberton instead of Tex.

JJK isn't in much teams because he's basically spent the entire preseason in rehab and I'm not sure he is still even on the track yet?

He's getting older now and injuries are playing their part. At 400k, I'd rather spend 20-30k more and look at someone like Lynch, Billings etc (Although personally I won't be getting anyone in that price range)
I haven't considered Tex cos if he's not the king of all spuds he's certainly in line for the throne ..... NEVER EVER !!!

Even though he was injured at times last year have to admit he looked slow and cumbersome someone like Rankine I'm hoping is a much better option for a lot less , JLT will tell  ;)

Hall:
Career: 103 games, 1986 disposals, 628 contested
2018: 6 games, 11 disposals, 36 contested
2017: 19 games, 487 disposals, 116 contested

Brouch:
Career: 61 games, 1544 disposals, 655 contested
2018: DNP
2017: 20 games, 561 disposals, 253 contested

Miles:
Career: 71 games, 1576 disposals, 735 contested
2018: 1 game, 20 disposals, 8 contested
2017: 5 games, 97 disposals, 45 contested

Miles going at almost 50% contested, Crouch around 40%, Hall around 30%

Decided to play around with a team of mostly mid price options. I actually don't mind it all that much

Mills, Williams, Newman, Smith, Roberton, Collins (Burgess, Hore)
Fyfe, Kelly, Martin, Sloane, Rocky, Hall, Miles, Libba (Bewley, Hind, Atkins)
Kreuz, Mummy (Fort)
Danger, Heeney, Wingard, Acres, Rozee, Setterfield (Corbett, Cavarra)

Rocky to Hanners

Donuts all year long with that ruck duo :P

Haha I love that. If you can somehow turn one of those rucks into Grundy I'd consider that starting team

That would be easy, Mills the perennial breakout contender (should be pretender) to some rookie to will score the same and Kreuz to Grund

Cheers, makes me even more tempted to bring Miles in now.

He's almost priced as a rookie, but Darcy Moore is only about 240k and is DPP DEF/FWD

Was always touted for his potential but has yet to fill it so far, and that hasn't helped his SC but I just read this from their intra club match today

"Moore showed no ill-effects from the head knock that forced him to leave the track on Monday, reinforcing that he could become the Pies' best virtual recruit this season.

The peroxided swingman was an attacking weapon at centre half-back, regularly intercepting opposition forward thrusts with great timing and anticipation before delivering to teammates with long, precise kicking.

.......the pacy Moore also continued to explore his potential at kick-ins. He often burst clear of the goalsquare and on one occasion took two bounces at full-speed â€" a passage that seemed to prove he was over the hamstring problems that restricted him to just seven games last year."

240k for a guy who has no JS issues and might be doing a bit of the kicking out and can intercept. Do we dare?
