In Lions practices Charlie Cameron has been running with the midfield along with Cam Raynor. If this continues and will be watching JLT do they become options for F4.

Backed up by this article now from Herald Sun.

"Brisbane will introduce a dangerous edge to its midfield this year by adding quicksilver pair Charlie Cameron and Cam Raynor to its onball mix.

The Lions midfield will look vastly different this year without departed onball king pin Dayne Beams, but coach Chris Fagan is unafraid of what lies ahead given the talent at his disposal.

Fagan’s side played three 15-minute periods of match practice on Sunday at the club’s Tasmanian training camp, with Lachie Neale already making a seamless transition into the Lions midfield.

- Herald Sun"

Cameron with a tank could be the next Walters, given mid time.

Sounds like another headache to me!

Josh Kennedy now saying he will play JLT.
397k forward who before 2018 went 93, 97, 92

Definitely an option along with Lynch if Greene doesn't get up for F4.

If you're referring to Lynch from Richmond then I don't think he's even a certainty to play round 1 so I wouldn't go near him

Might be crazy, but I'm considering starting all of Miles/Hanners/Libba

At their prices, if they can all go on to avg 85-90+ (which is a very reasonable expectation) then they will provide good scoring, make just as much cash as a rookie, but very importantly they will be easy to upgrade to full prems - just need to milk one cow, then use that cash to turn them into a prem. Less rookies on field too

Seriously tempted. GnR everywhere else, with just these 3 mid pricers

To risky for my liking but like everyone will watch how they go in JLT , Hanners has already had a hiccup with hammy problem I think ? his body seems to have gone on strike , Libba he is very unlucky or he has major knee problems like some players do , Miles is the most likely out of the 3 especially if he can tidy up his disposals but all three could be asking for trouble.

Ringo

Actually will be watching the JLT to see how the new rules at centre bounce are handled. 6  forwards and defenders remaining in the 50 metre arc.  May unearth some more options given the attack that may result especially if it results in more goals.
Just remembered this change and started wondering what effect it will have on SC scoring. Could mean more possessions for HF and Intercept for HB but waiting to see.

Hanners is done. He is more likely to be an Armitage than a Murphy.

I still need to break down his recent numbers, but he also performs a lot worse in losses and can be tagged out pretty easily. If you think the Saints are going to be a trash team he will probably average around 80

Anyone looking at Miles? Newman?

I've got Miles, reckon he could average 90+
Considered Newman but not in my team at the current stage.

Peter

Ditto - just can’t fit Newman in

I'm leaning towards locking Newman and possibly Miles.

How viable is Dogs ruck English?

RaisyDaisy

Can someone please explain the Newman love to me?

He isn't dirt cheap. At 395k he has to turn into a keeper

DEF keepers should be going 95+ this year, 90+ at an absolute minimum

And please don't give me the "taking over Doch" role because that means shower - just look at last year

I'd peg Newman to go 85-90 at best.

How is he an attractive option?

I don't get it, and won't
