This is my first go, haven't put a lot of time into it and rookies are based just on reputation. This is based off the Dr Supercoach picker, which I thibk is pretty acurate.

Def - L.Whitfield, J.Crisp, C.Blakely, Z.Williams, J.Scrimshaw, H.Wigg (M.Hore, C.Bellenden)
Mid - T.Mitchell, P.Cripps, C.Oliver, N.Fyfe, J.Kelly, L.Stoker, E.Smith, R.West (C.Constable, B.Cavarra, C.McFadyen)
Ruck - B.Grundy, B.Longer (S.Hayes)
Fwd - P.Dangerfield, D.Smith, T.Greene, S.Weideman, I.Rankine, W.Setterfield (I.Hill, S.McAdam)

Not a bad first draft D-Mac!

Like the selections of Crisp and Blakely, they could be some nice PODs if they make the round 1 cut for you.

Ballenden is a forward, but just a placeholder of course.

Really like the selection of Longer. He's 25, should ruck on his own, and with the addition of Hanners has a decent midfield around him. An interesting prospect indeed!

Yeah I like Crisp and Blakeley as cheaper options to guys like Lloyd, Sicily, Simmo etc.

Your mids will be a very popular cookie cutter line up, I just am wary of picking 5 top priced mids as the top players vary a lot from year to year. Think back to when the "big three" in Titch, Dusty and Danger were the top 3 this time last year and only Titch was worth the cash to start.

Longer is one of a few cheaper options for R2 that could work well Naismith and Mummy are 2 others.

Interested as to why u have gone Smith over Heeney?
Greene really tempts at that price but worries me at F3, - if he goes down before he's made cash you'd either have to downgrade to a rookie or find cash to upgrade before rookies have peaked.
I'd like to have him at F4 but cash is really tight then.
Overall I like it. First draft of many I assume!

Some nice unique selections down back but I'd be shocked if Longer is still there come Round 1 - he is literally the worst SC ruck in the comp in terms of teams number one rucks

Don't understand the Weideman pick either - surely Joe D for 35k more is a no brainer? And I know he's just a place holder but Cavarra is FWD only

Money Shot

I agree that Greene at F3 is a bit weak because, as said earlier, if he goes down you’ll need to make two trades to find a suitable F3 replacement.

Longer could be a good selection with Hickey out of the team and Hanners coming in.

Also agree that Daniher would be a much better selection that Weideman.

Good first draft.

SilverLion

Nice first draft with a few PoDs in there. As others have said, forward line probably slightly weak though given the options available next year.

Yeah can't say I understand the Longer pick haha, apart from that though, not a bad starting side to work with. How much cash left?

Ringo

Nice start but as others have said Forwards and R2 the issue but may pay off if Longer fires.

A little further along now. My main issue structure wise is whether or not to go with Gawn. Have him in at present.

Def - R.Laird, L.Whitfield, A.Witherdan, Z.Williams, J.Scrimshaw, M.Hore (B.McKay, H.Wigg)

Mid - P.Dangerfield, P.Cripps, C.Oliver, N.Fyfe, J.Kelly, S.Walsh, C.Constable, B.Bewley, (E.Smith, R.West, B.Gibbons)

Ruck - B.Grundy, M.Gawn (P.Bines)

Fwd - I.Heeney, C.Wingard, T.Greene, I.Rankine, W.Setterfield, S.McAdam (B.Cavarra, M.Cotrell)

7k leftover.

My other option would be Gawn>Naismith, amd Cavarra up to a fwd premium, Menegola/D.Smith/Dunkley/Gunston

Ringo

Any reason why Danger is in mids and not Forward. Most teams have Danger in forwards.

I would move Danger forward and make Greene Miles/Libba at M5. Think Greene is too much of a risk at F3,

Think structure you have is fine then with this move. Like most the final decision will be which one of def/fwd to be the 4th prem dependent on rookies starting.

Good luck.
