I was going to post this in the SC strategy section, but this is more to do with discussing actual players to chose from each round so I think it's best placed here

Here is a list of Premiums who would be considered to start in 2019, with their corresponding bye. I figured this might be helpful when trying to decide who to start/pick whilst also considering the byes

I'm not going to list every single possible option, but more so the obvious ones just so you all have an easy place to refer to

Hope this is helpful

ROUND 12

DEF: Michael Hurley, Luke Ryan, James Sicily, Dylan Roberton
MID: Zach Merrett, Nat Fyfe, Jack Macrae, Marcus Bontempelli, Tom Liberatore*
RUC: Justin Westhoff (F)
FWD: Devon Smith, Michael Walters, Robbie Gray, Josh Dunkley, Toby McLean, Jack Gunston, David Mundy, Jack Billings

ROUND 13

DEF: Harris Andrews, Jeremy Howe, Jack Crisp, Jake Lloyd, Callum Mills, Alex Witherden, Shannon Hurn, Jeremy McGovern
MID: Dayne Zorko, Lachie Neale, Adam Treloar, Dayne Beams, Steele Sidebottom, Scott Pendlebury, Joel Selwood, GAJ, Mitch Duncan, Clayton Oliver, Angus Brayshaw, JPK, Elliot Yeo, Andrew Gaff
RUC: Brodie Grundy, Stef Martin, Max Gawn
FWD: Patrick Dangerfield, Tim Kelly, Sam Menegola, Buddy Franklin, Isaac Heeney, Tom McDonald

ROUND 14

DEF: Rory Laird, Kade Simpson, Lachie Whitfield, Zac Williams*, Nic Newman, Brodie Smith
MID: Rory Sloane, Matt Crouch, Brad Crouch*, Patrick Cripps, Josh Kelly, Stephen Coniglio, Dustin Martin, Anthony Miles
RUC: Todd Goldstein, Shane Mumford*
FWD: Kane Lambert, Charlie Curnow

Round 14 has some popular defenders, and due to the lack of forwards we could actually have 4 defenders from this round as we should be able to field 6 forwards who won't have the same bye

GoLions

Legend. Can't wait to check this out a couple weeks before the bye rounds  ;D

SilverLion

Reasonably even spread, don't think theres a real killer bye like this year. Thanks for posting this RD :)

Peter

Great work RD - reasonable spread in 2019

RaisyDaisy

Thought I should give this a bump

I've updated the lists to include most popular players of now

eaglesman

Fantastic ... I’m puzzled with my team now

Will sticky this one RD so it stays for reference,

HappyDEZ

Even without Lloyd & Heeney (who I may get real soon unless I go down the dodgy Westhoff path) R13 is shaping up as a real headache. 7 prems for me atm.

Thought I would copy in here my latest Team review as it covers a lot of the bye issues and options.

Downgrade/upgrade options - drew/setterfield,d moore/
In >    Ryan/siciliy/hurn/rich)     MIDS  (Merrett, Pendles, Bont, Kelly, Macrea)
Downgrade upgrade probably  -  depending on available rookies and premium BE's

All subject to change of course.   Most likely change will be bringing in Hately when GWS play him again.  Personally I would like them to keep him until R15 if his JS is going to be suspect.  Does not look good when Whitfield is out and he is still not getting a game.

Upgrade Options thoughts
DEFENCE
RYAN - early 20's breakout player playing SC friendly role more upside than downside, - r12 bye is good opt1
RICH - late 20's sub prem player that has always had potential.  is scoring well above career average.  Role has seen reduction in sub 80's scores supporting increase of 10+ pts in average. Very Bad bye option r13.  Depending on funding and timing may be option post byes.
SICILY - elite intercept mark and good user of the ball.  Good match with R12 bye.  opt2
HURN - over 30's scoring at career best rate.  similar mold to simpson from Carlton.  have to wait to r15 to get him or pay overs and copy bye.

MIDS
MERRETT - was keen on him pre season, decided on value options Brayshaw and B Crouch.  Merrett outperforming both.  Will have to pay high change over cost unless he drops some value between now and byes.  Favourable r12 bye.  good value at 550-570k so best chance in next week when he drops to 570.
MACRAE - superprem droppingin price and gettable at around 570 in next couple of weeks.   Toss up with Merrett.
BONT - graceful, elite player that CD loves.  I am never confident what I will get with BONT - appears to have lifted his floor,  last yr 4 scores under 80.  This year lowest is 95.  This has pushed his average up into superprem.   at 23.5yrs of age ready to step up to SuperPrem SC scorer.
PENDLES - over 30yrs of age is a downmark.  moving well and seems to be more involved in 6.6.6 than his defensive positioning in previous couple of seasons.  Elite user of the ball and SC friendly scorer.   2 scores in the 70's this year is what is wrong with him and his last couple of seasons have seen 3/4 sub 80 scores dragging down his average.   Probably leave him out.

Peter

Picked up Merrett myself this week - only two poor scores against the top two. Have Bont already as a POD. Kennedy is another POD but bye problem
