HA!! Yeah, I just really wanted to follow so I can see the delising dates required!!

Sorry for not being so active the last couple of weeks everyone.

All de-listings need to be completed by the time the Rookie Draft starts, so any players you de-list that are still on an AFL list can be added into the pool for AXV rookie draft selections.

Now I had not realised, but the AFL Rookie Draft actually takes place tomorrow, just after the National Draft.

Therefore, I will ask teams to get in their de-listings as soon as possible. We will not start the AXV Rookie Draft until all teams have their de-listings in and finalised.

We can look at putting a definitive deadline in place if we are getting to the end of our National Draft with teams still to finalise de-listings, but hopefully this can all be sorted by then.

In more drafting news, hopefully we should be all good to start our National Drafting tomorrow night after the AFL National Draft has been completed!

Also, a quick reminder on this rule for any coaches who have players still on their list they are hoping will get drafted in the next couple of days.



KEEPING PLAYERS ON YOUR LIST WHO ARE DE-LISTED BY AFL CLUBS

Some AXV clubs may choose not to de-list a player who has been de-listed in the AFL, in the hope that they will be picked up in one of the AFL drafts.

*If you do not de-list a player at the official de-listing date, he can remain on your list during the draft period

*If the player is drafted by an AFL Club, they MUST remain on an AXV list

*If after the AFL Pre-Season/Rookie Draft the player is still not on an AXV list, he MUST be immediately de-listed from an AXV list, and a player will be selected during the AXV Pre-Season/Rookie Draft to replace him

I might just add, it would be helpful if clubs could state their de-listings are finalised in their post, so we know when we are able to move forward with updating team lists accordingly :)
