Jake Niall reporting that Collingwood's offer for Beams is #18 and a future 2nd

Pretty much the best they can offer too, based on their current picks, outside of offering a player
Well, they could offer a future first as well. We've already knocked it back.

Two firsts for Beams is way too much though

They're late firsts, absolutely no chance we would trade him for something like 18 + 40

Two firsts are bang on, and I'd lean towards higher firsts than 18 too.

Yep if Coll isn't offering up players then 2x first will have to be involved imo

RaisyDaisy

Yeah fair enough actually

I just looked at the Gibbs trade again and makes sense

I keep using the Treloar trade as precedence though, and because of the age gap I figured two firsts wouldn't be needed here but maybe they are

St Kilda has re-signed promising first-year players Ben Paton and Oscar Clavarino until the end of 2020

Richmond has re-signed emerging Tigers, Connor Menadue and Callum Moore, with the 22-year-olds inking new deals to remain at Tigerland next season.

Had a bit of a laugh about Port warning GC about taking Lukosius or Rankine or both really what are they supposed to do just pick lesser kids from QLD with there high picks  ::) the best chance of QLD kid is McFadyen around the mid 20's pick and they have 19, 24, 29 to pick up these players so lets face it whoever they get with there high picks might want to go home so they may as well pick the best  ;)

it is clever though, making a statement like that, not only might they get in the head of people at GC, they have got a message to those kids as well....

Get er done. I've been pretty vocal on wanting Newman all off-season. Now with Byrne officially retired he has to be a priority. Hopefully he is happy to come in as a DFA
