The Mitch McGovern deal is official. Crows get pick 13, Carlton's 2019 5th rd, Shane McAdam. Carlton gets McGovern and Adelaide's 2019 3rd. Sydney gets 26, 28, 40 @AFLcomau

This is a win win trade for everyone I think.

Carlton get McGovern and don't have to give up pick 1 as well as moving up in next years draft a little bit.
Adelaide get McAdam and 13 which is overs but as a contracted player it is fair enough.
Sydney are better placed to land Blakely

Apparently there was an article on the Lions website saying that we've traded 24, 58 and 79 to GC for 32, 41, 44 and 77, but has since been taken down. Didn't see the article myself, can anyone here confirm?

If true would probably be a likely deal to take place tomorrow to help facilitate the Adams/Neale trades.

Sydney obviously only do this for more academy points since the two 2nds equal more than 13 using the scale, Sydney trade could be done separately as well. I'll be upset if we get the 26 and 28 on their own though, fingers crossed the Sydney involvement is true.

Gary Rohan to the Cats for pick 61

PORT Adelaide wingman Jared Polec will be joined at North Melbourne next year by defender teammate Jasper Pittard.

The Roos will part with pick 11 in this year's draft for the pair, getting pick 48 in return.

The Power will also receive North's 2019 fourth-round selection.

I figured pick 40 was going to come back to us in the Gov trade. Turns out that went to Sydney and we got back a 3rd next year.

We need to generate more picks in the draft this year. Not sure how we do that now. We need to get back into the 2nd round somehow or get some FA's other than Fasolo to help out on the fringe.
