2018 Off Season (list changes and trade rumours)

It's a load of BS but made me laugh.

Apparently at the presentation Lethlean offered Shiel a drink, "tea, water, anything you want Dylan, we've got it!"

Anyway Dylan asked for a coke, but they didn't have any and all the staff had gone off on break, so Lethlean ducks off to 7-11 to grab some but got lost and couldn't find his way back to Moorabbin for ages (left his phone in the meeting room).

Anyway they left Shiel with this intern who got all starstruck and awkwardly asked Dylan to sign his Saints membership 2017 hat. It was a really awkward moment but Dylan obliged, but then the intern says he'll get the papers for him to sign then as well, it was meant to be a joke but it bombed.

So by the time Lethlean got back Dylan had left! Rooey arrives just at that moment having been given the wrong starting time for the meeting!

Absolute shambles.

Definitely, and I knew he was gone weeks ago deep down.  All the best too him, if North pull of there signings they could be pretty dangerous next year.

We won a flag without Gaff, so Kelly as his replacement is fine by me

I understand Gaff wanting to move home with his Dad not well etc so no hard feelings on my end

Kelly certainly makes it a lot easier

Suspect it is also heavily back ended given the term and the money used to recontract Rance and Riewoldt.

Wouldn't we get pick 19 in return for Gaff then use that to get Kelly?  From our point of view essentially it is trading Gaff for Kelly which makes me sick, but it has to be done, while I'm hearing Cats supporters say they should be getting much more in return than just pick 19.  What a crock, after raping us for Scooter.
