For information McCarthy has passed the medical tests at Lions so looks like he will be coming whether Neale comes or not. It appears the club were looking at him before the Neale issue arose anyway. Maybe he was instrumental in suggesting to Lachie to look at Brisbane.

Hang on, which McCarthy is this? Please tell me it's not the guy who "claimed" mental health because he wanted to go home?
Nope, Lincoln McCarthy from the cats. Good mates with Neale from Juniors I believe.

Ah ok, that was who I was thinking, but just wanted to make sure!

It has been confirmed that Steven May met with demons so more to play out.

It annoys me how much that works haha!

Melbourne wouldn't want to swap Hogan for May though but if Hogan wants out (I think he is quite happy with the Melbourne party life) this could actually be a really good trade for all teams

Mat0369

I've heard some stories about Hogan but considering he lost his dad and what he went through himself last year I can't really blame him

Didn't the Dees just re-sign Oscar McDonald and they have Lever coming back. Obviously May is an upgrade over McDonald but you would assume that means they are the three tall defenders they run with?

Losing Hogan would hurt, but if they trade him they're showing supreme faith in Weiders off such a small sample size. Hogan was killing it this year and you can only expect him to get better. I think if I was Melbourne I'd roll the dice with what I have and only look to add through FA like Gaff

Big Mac

Hogan worth a flowerton more than May

Big losers in that trade scenario

RaisyDaisy

Suns need to grow a pair of balls and stop letting everyone kick them in the dick

Hold May, and then let him go next year and you'll get a compo pick, most likely in the Top 3-5

elephants

Hogan very happy in Victoria according to a family member, but not stoked with the Demons. Very highy doubt he moves, but if he does I reckon its in a move to Pies/Hawks

Still dont think he movies anywhere though, Dees on the verge of something all of a sudden

Ringo

Aaron Hall met with Roos and undergoing medical this afternoon to inflict more pain on the Suns.

Good riddance, one way runner and not what GC need culturally or on-field.

GIANTS key defender Jeremy Finlayson will explore trade options at rival clubs as Greater Western Sydney moves to avoid a salary cap squeeze next season.

"Jeremy was told in his exit interview that the club was open to exploring options ahead of the trade period," Trotter said.

"This was unexpected but we will have a look around and if there is something there we will explore it, but if not Jeremy has got two years remaining on his contract and both he and the club are more than happy for him to stay.

"The club and Jeremy will work through things together before any decision is made."
