Hoff as R/F is the biggest lock to start in my forward line
I wanna pick him too haha. But 6 other proven guys there to pick from as well.

Maybe R2? Swing him into the forwards later when we know whats happening with Gawn/other second premo ruck?

Definitely an option

McLean's second half was meh, and although Devon is super consistent I'd have Danger, Heeney, Hoff and TK ahead so can easily start those 4, or 3 of them with Hoff at R2

Not touching Tim Kelly. Guys normally struggle to back up a breakout and he is going to be unhappy after not being traded. I'm thinking something like this

D: Doc, Blakely, Laird, Williams (pending how cheap he is)
M: Mitchell, Josh Kelly, Oliver, an underpriced premo and rookies
R: Gawn, Mummy, R3 with DPP
F: Danger, Hoff, 2 of McLean/Dev/Heeney and rookies

Will likely change once I get a glimpse at prices, but the forward line is stacked.

Yeah Mummy at R2 with a R/F R3 to float with Hoff could work.

lot of confidence Danger is going to get M/F.   Think CD more likely to not give him dpp due to high ownership if they do.

Given cost funds, see rucks being  one of Gawn/Grundy and Mummy with Hoff or another R/F option will be super popular.   I lean towards Grundy.   Bit more robust than Gawny.

What price are we expecting for Williams and Doc.   Almost definite starters for Def.  Also see Blakely as a good def option for Swans.  Wont be over the top expensive either.

Starting possies are the same for Fantasy and SuperCoach and are instructed by CD. Danger will be a fwd in SC

if mitch duncan gets mid/FWD he played alot back of the square . i would look at him as a lock at def
Lock in def if he gets mid/fwd? That makes no sense  ???

I agree, I think Duncan is a huge chance to be have DEF eligibility. Started at half back a lot of the season.
I also think Bontempelli must be a chance for FWD eligibilty, named and started at CHF for half the season.

Any other juicy potential position changes ? Connor Blakely Defender maybe ?
Duncan is a MID only unfortunately

Blakely DEF

I just don't understand how Dusty didn't get forward status. Played a hell
of a lot more forward than Tim Kelly, Toby McLean, Isaac Heeney etc

I never thought he would get it due to the fact that 99% of teams would have him  but then they gave it to Danger?

Blakely? Doesn't he play for Freo?
Or do you mean Nick Blakey? Because isn't he a forward, not a defender?

Just curious how much playing more ruck time contributed to Hoff's first and only season scoring 100+?
Anyone able to come up with the relevant stats?
He seemed to have a great year in general so maybe its coincidence he scored well and played more ruck.
Won't be needed there if Lycett and Ryder stay fit, but on the other hand he will be able to spend more time on the wing with Dixon and Ryder fwd.
He's getting on 32 or 33? But is super tempting as ruck cover with a cheap loophole R3.

Too many options to lock!!
Whitfield Docherty Laird Williams Sicily Lloyd Blakeley all good options in defence

Mitchell if recovered from surgery
Macrae Oliver locks
Maybe Fyfe maybe a cheap Dusty
Cripps has Jacobs and Hewett early so I'm skipping him for now

Grundy locked

Danger and Heeney locked
Dunkley if he stays in the mids

Good to see a lot more forward DPP's than last year and there is always a glut of mids so can expect a lot less clone teams this time , locks Danger , Fyfe , Mitchell , Grundy , Lloyd probably Heeney and Oliver and Cripps but it's still 2018 so nothing in concrete yet  ;)

I'm off Fyfe. Never plays a full season. So sick of trading him in and out every year.

All the better for the people who start him  ;)
