No way I think I could do it, but Hanners played his best game in the past 2 years...change of scenery and full health, could be super underpriced.

Will be around the 330k mark, thats a pretty tempting price

Yes it is and by the time we have got our team sorted you usually have to choose a player in this price range or another rookie and cash in the bank to finish up so lets see if he can get his body up and running again  ;)

I thought this was the “Locks” thread not “If I had a brain injury and was desperate” thread.

defn of insanity,  doing the same thing and expecting a different result.   hanners = insanity

Haha. Billings and Hibberd are an extension of this. Locked out of my team.

My locks:

Def: Docherty, Laird, Lloyd, Williams
Mid: TMitchell, Oliver,
Ruck: Grundy, Gawn
Fwd: Ummmm.... nobody?

Forwards could be anyone really. Nobody stands out to me as a 'must have' to start the season. I usually just try to get forwards (especially talls) when they're cheap after a quiet game or two. I've never once started with Buddy, but I think I've had him in my team for finals every year. Always able to pick him up once his price has dropped significantly.

Defence seems to have the best choice of players I wouldn't want to miss out on from the start... ie guys that won't drop in value at some point. Sicily will inevitably have a quiet game amongst the huge scores, so I'll probably try to trade for him. Another one that could be a good pick to start the season is Johannison if he's traded to Freo.

A lot of people are saying the JJ trade to Freo could be happening soon... which would be great for his scoring in my opinion. A fresh start for a guy with so much talent and rebounding potential could mean he'll go big from the start of the season. Should be priced pretty modestly too!

Setterfield should be worth a look as a rookie option.

Yep, he'll be a very popular starting rookie you'd think

I agree, I think Duncan is a huge chance to be have DEF eligibility. Started at half back a lot of the season.
I also think Bontempelli must be a chance for FWD eligibilty, named and started at CHF for half the season.

Any other juicy potential position changes ? Connor Blakely Defender maybe ?

SilverLion
