Re - Iterating trading rules here:

5.1 Trading between teams is allowed as long as trades are determined to be reasonably fair between both parties.

5.2 Trades must be listed in the Trading Thread in the following format:

X Team receives: Player A

Y Team receives: Player B

Reason: Justification for why the trade has been made

The trade must be then confirmed by the other party in the trade, and they must list their reasons also

5.3 Trades will either Passed or Rejected by the league administrator.  The administrator will take into consideration the short and long term impacts to both teams, to ensure the trade does not damage a team's future chances of being competitive.

5.4.a  Administration will rule on all trades and should 5 coaches object to the decision of Adminstrator then trade will be sent to a vote of all coaches. Coaches will have 5 days to object to decision.

5.6 Trades for Trade Period 1 will be on an unlimited basis and can include Draft Picks. For trade period 2 trades are on a one for one basis.

5.7 There will be two trade periods per season, one before the drafts, and one after. Teams are entitled to 20 Player movements over the 2 trade periods.

5.8 A player movement is defined as moving a player from one team to another. Draft picks or players you have received as part of a trade can be on traded but will not count as a movement.

Kindly note that this thread is for agreed trades only. Discussions to take place in the 2018/2019 trade discussion thread

The first trade period will close on November 16th

Koop

and we're off!

Hebden Bridge trade: Rhys Stanley + N10 + N28

Manchester trade: Lachlan Fogarty + Zak Jones + N19

Reasoning: Ryno wants the Geelong ruck set, and while Stanley has been nothing short of phenomenal this year, Abbott has dented his scores over the last few weeks & there are still ?'s over his status at #1, so makes to sell now. Lachie Fogarty is a deadset jet and Zak Jones will add consistency to an otherwise volatile 2018 Hedgies backline. (I'm 95% confident he regains DEF status).

Ryno to confirm.

SilverLion

Oxford Owls give: Michael Barlow
Birmingham Dragons give: Aaron vandenBerg

Reasoning: Owls keen on bringing in some more forwards with only Gunston and Hawkins locked in the best XV. Barlow has shown in his few games this year that he's good enough to go around again, but ultimately doesn't fit the Owls makeup. Dragons keen to take a punt on Barlow to add some strength to their forward line in their push for the flag. vandenBerg has shown some signs this year, and will hopefully have time to improve and cement a spot in Melbourne's best 22.

kilbluff to confirm :)

Confirmed.

Personally, I believe Manchester aren't so poorly positioned as our 2018 Ladder position suggests, however, what we were in desperate need of was a first choice ruck, which Stanley provides. It wasn't easy to part with Fogarty, as both myself and Koop are big fans, with what is sure to be a fruitful career to come, however N10 provides appropriate compensation to hopefully find a suitable young gun replacement. Both coaches expect Z.Jones to pick up DPP, yet with Zac Williams and Brodie Smith returning next season, he was one we could afford to give up. Finally, we agreed that the second round pick swap evened out the trade appropriately.

Trade #2 as Manchester Coach,

Manchester give: Jamie Cripps
Wrexham give: Rookie Pick #4

Cripps had a career best season and will be a useful addition to the Wrexham forward line. Although this could leave our forwards a little shallow depending on DPPs, I believe I can snag a good player with the 4th Rookie pick.

PK to Confirm.

Losing Waite and Clugg becoming mid only next year. Need to get a forward.

Confirmed

Hawka

Leeds give: Alex Rance, Callum Coleman-Jones, N40
Liverpool give: Tim Membery, Ben Stratton

Need some high scoring forwards badly, I should get some great defenders back next year so Stratts comes in as that 4th 5th defender to cover losing a good scorer in Rance

Confirmed.

Love the boy Skunk, but you gotta do what you gotta do and I know Toff will take care of him. Stratts has been a loyal depth defender when called upon in desperate times, but I can survive without him. In comes Rance, maybe a little Tiger bias but he scores well and I really need another reliable starting defender. CCJ is a young tall so is a bit of a project and the pick helps me punt on a player while balancing the deal.

Confirm - Lewis will not be around when team is in premiership window and another first rd pick will assist rebuild.  Late pick by me evens it up with McNiece.
