Every year in ADT, the coaches get a chance to recognise the efforts of their players and nominate for them for two prestigious ADT awards. Both awards are voted on by the coaches in a 3-2-1 system where 3 is the highest amount and awarded to the player the coach deems best in their category. Coaches must nominate one player for each award, and when voting, are not allowed to vote for their own player.

Coaches' MVP

Nominees for the Coaches MVP award can be any player the coach wants. There is no set criteria other than that the coach can only pick one player to nominate. Feel free to justify the selection.

However, it is suggested that the player be no more than about 23 at most, and preferred if they're 21 or younger. Feel free to justify the selection.

#1
Bolivia Condors;

MVP - Max Gawn - 113 - Ranked 3rd Overall

Rising Star - Clayton Oliver - 21 - 110 Avg - Ranked 5th Overall

Guadalajara

MVP: Justin Westhoff - He's been super consistent all season, hasn't missed a game and is averaging a 100 ( for the first time, having previously never averaged of 89) and is for sure one of the reason we managed to sneak into finals.

Rising Star: Bayley Fritsch - Unfortunately not ADT/AFL rising star eligible by a matter of months, but he's still only 21 and has been really good in his debut season, especially after moving up the ground and on to a wing/half forward flank. A 77 average is pretty solid for a first year player.

LF

MVP: Tom Phillips
Taken by Roswell at pick 34 in the 2015 rookie draft
22yrs old and a 3rd year player that upped his avg from 83 to 97 his fantasy scores got to the point that we couldn’t ignore making him captain a few times over the season

Rising Star: Tom Phillips
I could have nominated another Tom for this but decided Phillips thoroughly deserves a nomination for this as well

Anthony Miles is 26 and has played one game this year. I assume you mean Teia Miles.  :P

Rising Star Daniel Rioli

Senators MVP has been Stephen Coniglio. Tough to pick him over the likes of Gaff, Cripps and Yeo, but he is leading my votes.

Rising Star is Hugh McCluggage. Terrific 2nd year from him and showing why I went him number 1 in his draft year. Has gone 88 avg after the bye and became best XVIII and has settled in my forward line. Such a jet and is 20 years old.

Springfield Isotopes Rising Star: Toby McLean

Toby lifted his game to another level in 2018. Eligible as a forward, McLean, who is still only 22 years of age, averaged a very impressive 95.9 to this point of the year, also demonstrating his capabilities as a captaincy option with two monster scores of 143 and 152 respectively. In a forward line decimated by injury, McLean was a pivotal mainstay in ensuring the Isotopes reached the ADT Finals.

Springfield Isotopes MVP: Rory Laird

Laird is, in my opinion, one of the most valuable players in any keeper league format. He is ultra consistent and typically very durable. His 107.1 average makes him a dependable captaincy option week in week out, and, at 24, will be for many years to come. The #1 fantasy defender in the competition, Laird is the genuine definition of a fantasy GUN.

Los Angelos

MVP - Matt Crouch

Rising Star - Tim Taranto

R.Griffen

Calgary

Todd Goldstein through process of elimination is my selection. Started of the year slowly but the veteran hit his best in the second half of the season coming home strongly. Great effort from his age and where he was the prior seasons

Rising star
Angus Brayshaw, after missing the start of the season Angus Brayshaw was simply outstanding, quickly becoming one of the best defenders in the competition

Barra13

El Paso Pioneers

In his first year at El Paso this man has really stepped up this season and has lead the club from the front. We nominate in and under grunt man Ben Cunnington.

Really hard decision for the rising star. Ollie Wines is a gun and is doing his thing, Trent Dumont stepping up in the midfield, Jade Gresham having a cracker year, Blake Acres started off like a train however was injured. In saying all that, we will be nominating a young man that took a few rounds to break into the team, once he did he never let it go. Due to some of his monster scores in defense, Tom Cutler is selected.

Ringo

Hawaii

Hard decision for Hawaii with 7 players all scoring over 20 points through out the season.  Overall MVP is Scott Pendlebury with 27 votes. Unlucky player is Adam Treloar who despite missing last 5 rounds still polled 24 votes. Dayne Zorko (23) Dayne Beams (23), Seb Ross (22), Dyson Heppell (21) and Jack Reddan (21)  other players scoring more than 20 votes.

Coaches choice for Rising Star is Jarrod Berry. Berry in his second year has lifted his average from 60 to 78 this year. Has been used with some run with roles to increase education and is now part of the Surfers midfield.
